The induction cooker is a device which uses induction heating for cooking food.

Warning!

• Do not use cookware other than mentioned in the manual.

Flat-bottom pans/pots with bottom diameter from 12cm to 26cm , made from steel, stainless steel, cast iron or enamelled iron.

Safety

General safety

• Read the manual carefully before use. Keep the manual for future reference.
• The manufacturer is not liable for consequential damages or for damages to property or persons caused by non-observation of the safety instructions and improper use of the device.
• The device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the device by a person that is responsible for their safety.
• The device shall not be used by children. Keep the device and the mains cable out of the reach of children. Children shall not play with the device.
• Only use the device for its intended purposes. Do not use the device for other purposes than described in the manual.
• Do not use the device if any part is damaged or defective. If the device is damaged or defective, replace the device immediately.
• The device is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use the device outdoors.
• The device is suitable for domestic use only. Do not use the device for commercial purposes.

• Do not use the device near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. If the device is immersed in water or other liquids, do not remove the device with your hands. Immediately remove the mains plug from the wall socket. If the device is immersed in water or other liquids, do not use the device again.

• Keep the device away from heat sources. Do not place the device on hot surfaces or near open flames.
• Beware of hot parts. Wait until the device has cooled down before touching the device. The device becomes hot during use.
• Do not cover the device.

Electrical safety

• To reduce risk of electric shock, this product should only be opened by an authorized technician when service is required.
• Disconnect the product from the mains and other equipment if a problem should occur.
• Do not use the device if the mains cable or mains plug is damaged or defective. If the mains cable or mains plug is damaged or defective, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised repair agent.
• Before use, always check that the mains voltage is the same as the voltage on the rating plate of the device.
• Connect the device to an earthed wall socket. If necessary, use an earthed extension cable of a suitable diameter.
• Always fully unwind the mains cable and the extension cable.
• For additional protection, we advise you to install a residual current device (RCD) in the electrical circuit that supplies the bathroom his electricity. This RCD must have a rated residual operating current no higher than 30mA . Ask your installer for advice.
• The device is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• Do not move the device by pulling the mains cable. Make sure that the mains cable cannot become entangled. Make sure that the mains cable does not hang over the edge of a worktop and cannot be caught accidentally or tripped over.
• Do not immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains plug in water or other liquids.
• Do not leave the device unattended while the mains plug is connected to the mains supply.

Use

Setting the power

• Press the power button. The power indicator comes on. The display shows "2000".
• Slide the touch slider from left to right to increase the power.
• Slide the touch slider from right to left to decrease the power.

Setting the temperature

• Press the temperature button. The temperature indicator comes on. The display shows "180°".
• Slide the touch slider from left to right to increase the temperature.
• Slide the touch slider from right to left to decrease the temperature.

Setting the timer

• Press the timer button. The timer indicator comes on. The display shows "00:00".
• Slide the touch slider from left to right to set the hours.
• Slide the touch slider from right to left to set the minutes (5-minute steps).
• Press the timer button to confirm or wait until the display stops flashing.
• At the end of the countdown, a beep will sound and the device will go to standby mode.

To cancel the function:

• Press the on/off button to go to standby mode. The timer indicator goes off.
• Press and hold the timer button to resume operation with the set power or temperature settings. The timer indicator goes off.

Locking the device

The device can be locked to prevent accidental operation.

• Press the lock button to lock the power button, the temperature button and the timer button. The lock indicator comes on.
  To cancel the function:
• Press the on/off button to unlock the device. The lock indicator goes off.
• Press and hold the lock button to unlock the device. The lock indicator goes off.

Hints for use

• Insert the mains plug into the wall socket. A beep will sound and the indicators flash once. The on/off indicator starts to flash. The device is in standby mode.
• Place the cookware in the centre of the cooking zone.
• Press the on/off button to switch on the device. The on/off indicator lights continuously. The display shows "---".
• Set the device according to your cooking requirements.
• After use, press the on/off button to set the device to standby mode. The on/off indicator starts to flash.
• Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
• Allow the device to cool down completely.

Error codes

	Description Solution
E0	Internal circuit error.	(1) Use suitable cookware. (2) Switch off the device, allow the device to cool down completely and switch the device on again.
E1	No cookware or unsuitable cookware used.
E7	Top plate overheating.
E2	Internal overheating.	Contact the service centre.
E3	Overvoltage.
E4	Undervoltage.
E5	Open-circuit error or short-circuit error (top plate sensor).
E6	Open-circuit error or short-circuit error (IGBT sensor).

Cleaning and maintenance

Warning!

• Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off the device, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the device has cooled down.
• Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Do not attempt to repair the device. If the device does not operate correctly, replace it with a new device.
• Clean the outside of the device using a soft, damp cloth. If necessary, use a little neutral detergent. Thoroughly dry the outside of the device with a clean, dry cloth.
• Clean the ventilation openings using a soft brush.
