Read this manual carefully before running this appliance and save it for reference in order to obtain the best results and ensure safe use.

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
3. WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
4. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
5. This appliance is for household use only.

6. In case that you need a copy of the instruction manual, you can ask for it writing an email to [e-mail].

7. Use the device only for the intended purpose.
   • Always place the appliance on a stable, level and horizontal surface when you use it.

8. Make sure your hands and the appliance are dry when you insert the batteries.

TO INSTALL OR REPLACE BATTERY

• This product uses 2 × 3V CR2032 lithium batteries. Remove isolation sheet before use.
• Open the battery case cover at backside of scale.
• Insert the batteries respecting the polarity and place the cover.

CHANGING UNITS

This scale lets you to change the measurements units. Press the button to choose one unit: gr/Kg/Lb/Oz.

WEIGHT FUNCTION

1. Place the scale in a hard and plane surface.
2. Put a container (in case of use it) in the scale before turning it on.
3. Press soft but firmly the ON-OFF-TARE button to turn it on.
4. Wait a few seconds until all the information is showed.
5. Put in the food in the container and the weight will be showed.

TARE FUNCTION

To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale, put the first load on the scale and get the weight reading. Then press the TARE button to reset the LCD reading to "0" before adding next load. You can repeat this operation all the times you need up to the maximum weight capacity of the scale.

NOTE: once pushed the TARE button if you take away weight from the scale, the sign “-” will be showed. If this weight is more than 750 gr, the symbol no.4 will appear.

AUTO SHUT OFF

Auto shut-off occurs if display shows '0' or shows the same weight reading for 2 minutes.

WARNING INDICATORS

1."LO" = Replace new battery.
2. "EEEE" = Scale overload. Remove item to avoid damage.

CLEANING AND CARE

1. Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical / abrasive cleaning agents.
2. Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface. DO NOT use on carpet.
3. DO NOT strike, shake or drop the scale.
4. The scale is high precision device. Please take care of it.
5. Please keep it dry.
6. Please check whether battery is installed or in high level if scale cannot be turned on.
7. Do not mix batteries with other household wastes.

Disposal of old electrical appliances.

The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
