How to charge the ADE AM 1602 activity tracker?

Connect the USB connector integrated into the strap to the USB port of a computer or USB charger. The screen shows the charging symbol. The battery is fully charged when the 'Battery full' symbol appears.

How to install the FITvigo app and pair the device?

Download the FITvigo app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, open the app and follow the instructions. Pairing is successful when the screen displays 'Success'.

How to activate sleep monitoring?

Press and hold the tracker button for about 5 seconds until a blinking moon appears and the device vibrates. To deactivate, repeat the same operation until the moon symbol disappears.

How to set the alarm/wake-up?

Open the FITvigo app, set the desired wake-up time and save. At the set time, the tracker vibrates at intervals and the screen displays a blinking alarm symbol. Press the button to stop the alarm.

What to do if the screen shows nothing?

Check that the battery is sufficiently charged. If the level is low, the screen shows the charge level when pressing the button. In that case, recharge the device.

Is the watch waterproof?

The activity tracker is protected against water splashes (IP64 rating). It should not be worn while swimming or bathing. Do not immerse it in water.

How to clean the strap?

Wipe the tracker with a soft slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals. Never immerse the device in water.

What is the battery life?

The battery life is at least 7 days on full charge, for daily use of 8 hours per day.

How to view sleep data?

Sleep data can only be viewed via the FITvigo app. The tracker screen only displays steps, calories, distance and time.

What to do if pairing fails?

Check that your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled, the FITvigo app is open, and the tracker is within 10 meters. If the screen displays 'Fail!', repeat the pairing procedure.

With the activity tracker, you can measure the number of your steps, the distance travelled and the calories consumed while doing so.

In addition, you can monitor your sleep times in the app.

The activity tracker is designed exclusively for use in the private sphere and is not suitable for medical or sports medicine use.

Persons with portable or implanted medical electronic devices such as a cardiac pacemaker should use the activity tracker only after consultation with the attending physician.

Children must not play with the item.

DANGER for children

• Keep children away from packaging material. Risk of choking if swallowed. Also, beware that children do not pull the packaging material over their heads.

BEWARE of material damage

• Protect the activity tracker from strong jolts, shocks, direct sunlight as well as dirt.
• The activity tracker is splashproof. Remove it, however, before you bathe or go swimming, for instance.
• Do not make any modifications to the item. Only allow repairs to be carried out at a specialist workshop. Repairs carried out incorrectly can considerably endanger the user.

Start-up

Charge battery

-Connect the USB connection of the activity tracker with the USB socket of a computer (PC, Tablet, Notebook) or of a USB charging device. Observe the contacts of the USB connector and the charge indicator in the display.

As soon as the "Battery full" symbol is displayed, the activity tracker is ready to be used.

Install app

1. Make sure your smartphone is connected with the internet.
2. Download the "FITvigo" app in the app store (iOS) or Google Play store (Android).

• Depending on the settings of your smartphone, additional costs may be incurred for the internet connection or data transfer.
  We recommend downloading over a wireless network.

Connect the device with the app (pairing)

1. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone.
2. Start the app and follow the instructions. Pay attention to the information and explanations displayed.

After a short period of time your activity tracker will be connected with the FITvigo app (display indicator "Success").

Use

Counting steps

Once you have successfully connected your activity tracker with the FITvigo app, measurement begins as soon as you start walking. Recording and transmission of data are done automatically. Pay attention to the following:

• The activity tracker makes a permanent record of your physical activity. In doing so, all of your physical movements are interpreted in steps. As a result, the actual distance covered may differ from the indicated distance.
• The pre-set step length is an average value that cannot be changed.
  Every day at midnight, the measurement restarts at zero.

Enabling/disabling sleep monitoring

• When going to sleep, press and hold the button on the activity tracker for approx. 5 seconds until a small, blinking moon appears on the right of the display and the device vibrates briefly.

Sleep mode is active.

• When getting up, press and hold the button again for approx. 5 seconds until the moon icon is no longer displayed and the device vibrates briefly.

The activity tracker is once again in normal daytime mode.

Using the alarm function

Via the FITvigo app you can use the activity tracker as an alarm.

1. Start the app on your smartphone.
2. Set the desired alarm time.
3. Save the set alarm time.
4. Follow the instructions that are displayed in the app.
5. Confirm the notification that the alarm time has been successfully saved.

At the set time the activity tracker begins to vibrate in intervals; furthermore, a blinking alarm symbol is shown on the display.

• Press the operating button of the activity tracker in order to switch off the alarm function.

Show values on display

Press the button on the activity monitor when the display is switched off.

If sufficient current is available, the display shows your current values.

If there is insufficient power, the battery charge status is displayed first when you press the button.

In this instance, you should soon charge the battery - see "Charge battery".

By repeatedly pressing the button on the activity monitor, the following data will also be shown in turn:

If the button is not pressed again, the display turns off after 3 seconds.

• The values relating to sleep monitoring can be accessed exclusively via the app.

• The units of measurement for the values obtained by the activity tracker can likewise be set only via the app.

NOTE on material damage

-Do not submerge the activity tracker in water or other liquids.

-Under no circumstances use hard, scratching, or abrasive cleaning agents or the like in order to clean the device. If you do, the surface could be scratched.

• As needed, wipe down the activity monitor with a soft, lightly dampened cloth.

Fault/Remedy
