- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Special Safety Instructions for this Device
WARNING:
- Never add water to the oil!
- Oils and fats may burn when overheated. Please be careful! Do not forget to switch the device off after use! First turn the thermostat to the lowest position then remove the mains plug.
- Please do not operate the device with an external timer or a separate relay control system.
Intended Use
This device is used for deep-frying food.
It is intended exclusively for this purpose and may only be used as such. I only be used in the manner described in these instructions for use. The dem must not be used for commercial purposes.
Any other use of this device is considered to be contrary to the intended use may result in damage to materials or even personal injury.
Before using for the first time
- Remove the packaging. Then take the lid off the deep fat fryer. In the of fryer you will find a frying basket. Take all objects out of the fryer.
- It is highly recommended to clean the lid, casing, container and frying bar as described in Cleaning.
- Please pull the connecting cable out of the cable compartment.
Electrical connection
- Make sure that the input voltage (see name plate) and the line voltage m
- The mains plug should only be inserted into a correctly installed 220-240 50/60 Hz socket with earthing contact.
Connected Wattage
The total power consumption of this device can be up to 2000W. With this connected load a separate supply line protected by a 10 A household circuit breaker is recommended.
Useful hints for use
- Always remove the food remaining in the oil (e.g. pieces of French fries) the device has been used several times you should change the oil.
Use high quality frying oil or frying grease.
- Fats and oils must be heatable to high temperatures.
Do not use margarine, olive oil or butter: they are not fit for frying, because start to smoke already at low temperatures.
We recommend the use of liquid frying oil.
WARNING:
Please note this important information if you intend to use fat!
- If you use fat, please divide it up into small pieces. Turn the thermostat temperature and add the pieces slowly. Once the fat has melted and the coil level is reached you can set the desired temperature on the thermostat.
- In order to reduce the acrylamide content of food containing starch (potato cereals) the temperature during deep-fat frying should not exceed 170^ .
Furthermore, the frying time should be kept as short as possible and the fo fried until it turns golden yellow.
- Please note that the safety switch (7) is operated when the control element is inserted into the guide mechanism.
- Choose the right frying temperature and check the conditions of the food fried. A rule of thumb is that pre-fried foods require a higher temperature than foods.

Do not carry or move the deep fryer if the oil or grease is still hot.

When frying dough-like foods scrape off the excess dough and put the p carefully into the oil.

Please ensure that the handle of the deep fat frying basket has been cc attached.

Press the ends of the wire together at the free end of the handle.

Insert the brackets into wire hoops inside the basket.

The deep fat frying basket must not be more than 2/3 full. Do not overfrying basket.

Rub dry humid foods with a cloth before frying.
CAUTION:
In the case of foodstuffs which are too moist (e.g. frozen chips etc.) large a of foam may form, which under certain circumstances may cause the oil to overflow.
Use
- Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and switched off (The control are off.).
- Take the lid off the deep fryer.
- Remove the frying basket and fill the container with oil or grease (maximum
3.0 L). The filling level must be located between the minimum and the maxi level. - Turn fryer to desired temperature position.
- Temperature indicator light will be off when oil is pre-heated.
6 . Remove Lid and place Frying Basket with food into oil and close lid soon - Remove lid and lift Frying Basket and hang basket onto the edge of oil container. To remove excess grease and retain crispness, let food drain in F Basket at least 10-20 seconds. Then lift Frying Basket by handle and pour contents onto plate covered with paper towels before serving.

WARNING:
Always pull out the plug from the mains socket before cleaning and wait un unit has cooled down.

- Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects.
- Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
1.Make sure the deep fryer is switched off both the thermostat and timer kr before cleaning and maintenance.
- Allow the oil or fat to cool down.
Caution: Do not move the deep fry and the contents until it is completely o down.
3.If the deep fryer is not used regularly. It is recommended to store the oil fat after cooling in a container preferably in the fridge or some other cool p Open the lid and remove the bastet. Filter the oil or fat through a fine siev the container to remove food particles from the oil or fat.
4.If the deep fryer contains solid fat, allow the fat to solidify in the deep fr store the fat in the deep fat fryer.
- Empty the fryer and clean the inner part of oil tank with a paper towel, t with a wet cloth dipped in soapy water. Wipe with a damp cloth and allow 6.Clean regularly the outer part of the fryer with damp clothe and dry it wit and clean towel.

Trouble Shooting
- Check the mains connection.
- Check the position of the thermostat.
Other possible causes:
The device is fitted with a safety switch (7).
This prevents the heater being switched on accidentally.
Check that the control element is correctly in place.
Overheating Protection
- If you should accidentally switch on your deep fat fryer when there is no in it the overheating protection is automatically turned on. The appliance is n longer ready to be used. Unplug the deep fryer.
- Only after the device has been left to cool down completely should the "RESTART" button (8) on the rear of the control element be operated in order
