How to replace the battery of the TFA 30.5051 thermometer?

Open the battery compartment located on the back of the device. Remove the old battery and insert a new 1.5 V AAA battery, observing the indicated polarity +/-. Close the compartment. The device turns on automatically.

What to do if the display shows nothing?

Check the battery polarity and replace it if it is discharged. If the problem persists, make sure the battery is making good contact and that the compartment is properly closed.

How to clean the thermo-hygrometer?

Caution! Risk of injury:

• Keep this device and the battery out of the reach of children.
• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking. Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries.

3. Getting started

• Remove the protective foil from the display.
• Remove the magnetic holder.
• Open the battery compartment and insert a new battery 1,5 V AAA, ensure that the batteries' polarities are correct. Close the battery compartment again.
• All segments will be displayed for a short moment.
  The device is ready for use.
  The upper display will show the indoor temperature.
  The lower display will show the indoor humidity.
• Remove the battery to shut down the device.

4. Positioning and fixing

Fix the magnetic holder with the enclosed adhesive at your desired location. Please clean the surface before.
- The device can also be positioned on a flat surface by securing the holder to the bottom.
