How to connect my iPhone to Apple CarPlay wirelessly?

For a wireless connection, first register your iPhone via USB or Bluetooth in the Apple CarPlay device list (Apple CarPlay Device List). Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the iPhone. Then, select the iPhone from the list when choosing the Apple CarPlay source.

Why is my GPS not picking up satellites?

Make sure your vehicle is outdoors, away from tall buildings and trees. The first acquisition may take a few minutes. Also check that the GPS antenna is properly connected.

How to set the time on the device?

Press MENU, then SETUP > User Interface. Set Time Format to 12 or 24 hours. For Clock, choose NAV-SYNC to sync with GPS or Manual to manually set the date and time.

What to do if the screen does not respond to touch?

Check that the screen is clean and dry. If the problem persists, turn the device off and on again. If this does not solve it, consult a KENWOOD dealer.

How to update the navigation maps?

Go to www.garmin.com/kenwood, select the map updates, then follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update.

Can I watch videos while driving?

For safety reasons, video playback is disabled when the vehicle is moving. Stop in a safe place to watch videos.

How to use the Bluetooth hands-free function?

Register your phone via the Bluetooth menu. Once connected, you can make and receive calls using the on-screen buttons or voice commands. Make sure the HFP profile is enabled.

What to do if the disc does not play?

Check that the disc is clean and inserted with the printed side up. If the 'Disc Error' message appears, try another compatible disc (DVD, CD, etc.). Clean the disc from the center outward.

How to adjust the audio equalizer?

From the audio control screen, touch the graphic equalizer icon. You can adjust the 13 frequency bands (62.5 Hz to 16 kHz) with a gain of -9 to +9 dB.

How to reset the device to factory settings?

Go to SETUP > System > Factory Reset (or similar option). Confirm the reset. Note that this will erase all your personal settings.
