Frequently Asked Questions - CO 3031 Orbegozo

How to use the rice cooker CO 3031?
Measure the rice with the included cup. Wash the rice until the water runs clear. Place the rice in the non-stick pot and add water up to the line corresponding to the number of cups (see table in the manual). Place the pot in the appliance, close the lid, plug in and set the ON/OFF switch to 'I'. Press the function switch; the red COOK light turns on. At the end of cooking, the switch automatically switches to keep warm (WARM light).
Why is the rice not cooked properly?
Check that the pot is correctly placed in the appliance and that the lid is well closed. Make sure you have added the correct amount of water. Do not turn on the cooker until the rice is ready (rice and water in the pot). If the pot is not in place, the appliance does not work.
How does the 'keep warm' function work?
The WARM function activates automatically after cooking. The red COOK light turns off and the WARM light turns on. It is recommended to let the rice stay in WARM mode for 6 to 8 minutes before serving. Do not use this function for more than 12 hours to avoid discoloration and bad odors.
Can I steam at the same time as the rice?
Yes, use the provided steamer basket. Place it on the pot containing the rice and water. If you want to steam only, add an extra 1/8 cup of water to compensate. Follow the instructions in the manual for quantities.
How to clean the rice cooker?
Unplug the appliance and let it cool completely. Remove the pot and lid, wash them with warm water and detergent, rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth (no abrasive products). Never immerse the housing in water.
What to do if moisture enters the appliance?
Unplug the power cord immediately to avoid any risk of short circuit. Do not reuse the appliance until it is completely dry.
Can I use non-provided accessories?
No, use only the original accessories (non-stick pot, glass lid, spoon, cup, steamer basket). Use of non-suitable accessories may damage the appliance or compromise safety.
How to remove burnt residues from the heating plate?
Unplug and let cool. Use a knife or similar instrument to gently scrape off residues. Then use steel wool to smooth and polish the surface to ensure good contact between the plate and the bottom of the pot.
What is the maximum rice capacity?
The cooker can hold up to 10 cups of raw rice (according to the provided measuring cup). This corresponds to approximately 1.8 liters. For 10 cups, add water up to the 10-10 1/2 line in the pot.
What to do if the power cord is damaged?
Do not use the appliance. Contact an authorized technical service for replacement, as the cord is special and must be changed by a professional to avoid any danger.
