How to change the battery of the Orbegozo PC 2011 scale?

Open the battery compartment cover on the back. Bend the small black latch to remove the old battery without bending the terminal. Insert the new battery (CR2032 3V) by placing one side under the contact then pressing on the other side. Observe polarity.

How to use the tare function?

Place an empty container on the scale and press the 'Z/T' button. The screen displays '0g' or '---' if unstable. When '0g' appears with the 'TARE' symbol in the upper left corner, the tare function is activated. Then add the ingredients. The range is reduced by the weight of the container.

How to set the timer?

Press ON/OFF, then T-SET. Use the ▲ or ▼ buttons to set the desired time (max 99:59). Press T-SET to confirm each digit. To start the countdown, press T-SET. Press any button to stop. At the end, the alarm sounds 60 times and then the scale turns off.

What does 'Lo' on the screen mean?

The 'Lo' display indicates that the battery is low and needs to be replaced.

What does 'Err' on the screen mean?

'Err' means the scale is overloaded. Remove the excess weight to avoid damaging the device.

How to clean the scale?

Clean it with a damp cloth and a little detergent if necessary. Never use abrasive products, scouring pads or alcohol. Never immerse the scale in water and do not rinse it under the tap.

Why does the scale not turn on?

Check that the battery's insulating tab has been removed. If the battery is worn, replace it with a new CR2032 battery. Make sure the polarity is correct.

What is the maximum weight the scale can weigh?

The maximum capacity is approximately 2 kg (check the indication on the scale). Never exceed this limit to avoid damaging the device.

How to turn off the scale manually?

Caution

Use

• The kitchen balance was developed to display the weight of food and ingredients.
• Place the balance on a hard and level base.
• Lay the object to be weighed in the scale pan. When the arrow stops moving, the weight can be read on the dia.
• Do not dip the balance in water.
• Handle the balance with care. It is a precision measuring instrument. Do not make it fall and do not load it beyond the maximum weight.

Inserting the batteries

1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom.
2. Connect the compound battery to the supply connection. Please ensure the correct polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment again

Weigh-in Function (TARE)

If you would like to weigh further ingredients for example, use the weigh-in

function.

- Press the „EIN/TARA" button again. The display returns to "0".

- Now place the ingredient in the pan of the scales. Only the actual weight of

the added ingredient is shown in the display. Repeat the above procedure if

necessary.

When the scales are not being used they turn off automatically after approximately

2 minutes. This prolongs the battery life. Alternatively you can press the "AUS"

button to switch the device off.

Handle the balance with care. It is a precision measuring instrument. Do not

make it fall and do not load it beyond the maximum weight.

Auto shut off

Auto shut -off occurs if display shows'0' or shows the same weight reading for 2 minutes.

Manual shut off

To maximize battery life, always press ON/OFF to turn off the scale after using.

To set alarm timer

1. Press T-SET to confirm and go to next digit.
2. After setting time span, press T-SET to start counting down.
3. Press any key to stop counting down.
4. Press T-SET to clear time span.
5. When timer counts down to "00:00", alarm will start "beeping" for 60 times and the scale
   will automatically shut off. Max. Time span: 99:59

Cleaning

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, scourers, alcohol etc. to clean the scales.
