USER MANUAL TM2410 Tomado
- This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
- The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
- Do not use when the appliance is fallen, there are any signs of damage or when it leaks.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- Never use the device unsupervised.
- All repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician (*).
- Make sure that the appliance is stored in a dry environment.
- Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage of your home. Rated voltage: 220-240V~ 50Hz. The socket must be at least 16 A or 10 A slow-protected.
- This appliance complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic fields (EMF). - Turn on the hot plate (No. 1) by turning the switch (No. 2) clockwise. The red control light (No. 3) lights up.
- You can select the desired temperature by turning the knob clockwise, 1 for the lowest temperature and 5 for the highest level.
- If the temperature which belong to the set position is reached, the red control light turns off.
- After the temperature dropped, the thermostat will turn the hot plate back on again. CLEANING
- Unplug, before cleaning, the plug from the socket and allow the plate to cool down completely.
- Do not use toxic and abrasive cleaners such as gasoline, scouring powder or solvent. A normal kitchen cleaner or detergent is sufficient.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
- Remove the cooking residues immediately.
- Beware! The plate is hot.
- Use only pans with a diameter equal to the hotplate.
- Use only pots and pans with a flat bottom.
- If possible keep the lid on the pan while cooking.
- Cook vegetables, potatoes, etc. with little water to shorten the cooking time.
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Clean the plate with a damp cloth.
- Connect the power cable to the socket. Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage: 220-240V~ 50Hz.
- The heating plate is provided with a protective layer which for the first use should be removed. Switch the device and select the highest setting for 10 minutes. There may be created some smoke by the protection which now lit the heating plate. Then you can switch off the cooker or use it. - TOMADO provides a 2-year warranty for all defects caused by hidden deficiencies which render the appliance useless for normal operation.
- The warranty runs from the date of purchase; we advise you to carefully save your receipt.
- Within the warranty period any defects in production or material will be resolved free of charge, by means of reparation, replacement of parts or replacement of the appliance as a whole.
- The warranty certificate has to be filled in by the sales person at the moment of purchase.
- Repairs will only be made under warranty in case it can proven (by means of a filled in warranty card and the receipt) that the day the complaint is filed falls into the warranty period.
- The warranty does not apply when defects or damages result from an accident, misuse, negligence (e.g. incorrect cleansing), or when repairs of alterations have been executed outside the authorized TOMADO service centre (excl. disassembling, as stated in the instruction manual).
- The warranty does not cover any defects arising when the appliance is connected to the wrong outlet voltage, not following the guidelines in the instruction manual and usual wear and tear.
- The warranty does not cover any defects arising from the lack of frequent descaling of appliances, whatever type of water has been used (especially for steam irons, coffee machines and water boilers).
- TOMADO cannot be held responsible for any material damage or personal accident resulting from connecting the appliance in breach of the locally applicable safety regulations and technical standards (for instance an inferior AC outlet). The warranty under no circumstances grants the right for any compensation.
- All other claims, including damages, are excluded unless the Law states otherwise.
