- SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please read all instructions before using the device. o This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex- perience and knowledge if they have been given su- pervision or instruction concerning use of the appli- ance in a safe way and understand the hazards in- volved. o This appliance must not be used by children. The ap- pliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from children. o The appliance must be disconnected from the mains during periods of no supervision and prior to assem- bling, disassembling or cleaning. o Before cleaning the appliance, when not in use, or attempting any maintenance task, the vacuum cleaner shall be switched off and the plug removed from the mains supply. o This product is only intended for domestic use, to remove dry dirt and dust from household carpets, floorings and fabrics.Gebrauchsanweisung ○ Mode d’emploi ○ Istruzioni per l’uso ○ Instructions for use
o This vacuum cleaner is not designed to remove vit- reous building material including construction products and similar products such as wood/fibres, sand, cement, fibreglass, etc. The removal of these materials may damage the device and will void the manufacturer’s warranty. o The vacuum cleaner must only be connected to an AC supply at the voltage shown on the rating plate. This vacuum shall only be used for its intended pur- pose, as described in these instructions. o The vacuum cleaner shall never be operated with- out its filters. o The vacuum cleaner must never be used to suck up flammable liquids such as cleaning fluids, petrol etc., or in the presence of such vapours. o The appliance shall never be used outdoors, on any wet surface or to vacuum up water, liquid or damp dirt. o The power cable shall not be run over with the power brush. o Close attention is necessary when used near chil- dren. o If using an extension cord, it shall be ensured it fits the safety standards and is fully extended to pre- vent overheating and possible damage.Gebrauchsanweisung ○ Mode d’emploi ○ Istruzioni per l’uso ○ Instructions for use
- ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER o Ensure the the vacuum is switched off and disconnected from the mains supply be- fore assembling.
o Insert the hose connector onto the socket on the main body of the cleaner until it clicks into position. o Insert the suction tube into the floor head. o Fit the other end of the telescopic suction tube into the handle. o Unwind the mains cable and plug it into a socket. Never pull the cable further than the yellow mark. o Press the ON/OFF switch to start vacuuming. o Adjust the power regulation knob to suit the type of flooring being cleaned.Gebrauchsanweisung ○ Mode d’emploi ○ Istruzioni per l’uso ○ Instructions for use
- REPLACING THE DUST BAG o Always operate the device with a dust bag installed in the dust compartment.
o Change the dust bag when the indicator turns red or if the cleaner is no longer effec- tive. o Open the front cover. Pull the dust bag holder upwards to remove the full dust bag and insert a new one. o Push the bag holder back and close the cover by pressing it down until it is locked. o If the dust bag is not correctly installed, the lid may not close properly. Do not force it. - REPLACING OR CLEANING THE FILTERS Clean the dust compartment filter at least twice a year or when it becomes visibly dirty. Always operate the vacuum cleaner with its filters installed. Reduced suction power or motor damage may occur if the filters are not replaced or cleaned in good time. Disconnect from power source before cleaning filters. Do not use a washing machine to clean the dust compartment filter and allow to air-dry thoroughly before placing it back in the device. o Dust compartment filter (motor protection)
- Open the dust compartment lid, remove the dust bag and the filter.
- Rinse the filter in lukewarm water and air-dry the filter thouroughly.
- The highly effective HEPA filter fulfils the stringent requirements of the protection class for suspended particles and is therefore particularly suitable for people who suffer from allergies and respiratory problems. For best results, the filter should be replaced every two years.
- To replace the filter, open the lid and take out the HEPA filter, check it and if neces- sary replace it with a new one. Then insert the cover back into the housing and press gently until you hear it click into place.
- AFTER USE o Always switch the cleaner off and remove the plug from the electricity supply before cleaning the appliance, when not in use, or attempting any maintenance task.

Exhausted appliances should be collected separately in order to optimise the cost of re-using and recycling materials comprising the ma- chine, while preventing potential damage to public health and the environment. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol appears on all products to remind owners of the obligations regarding separate waste collection. Owners should contact their local authorities or appliance dealers for further information concerning the correct dis- posal of household appliances.
