Frequently Asked Questions - U6744CH ROTEL

How do I replace the HEPA filter on my Rotel U6744CH?
The HEPA filter is located in the tank compartment. Open the tank, remove the old filter, insert the new one following the mounting direction. It is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months.
How do I clean the motorized brush?
Unplug the vacuum. Remove the brush by pressing the side clips. Use scissors to cut tangled hair and threads. Clean the bristles with a damp cloth. Reattach the brush by clipping it back.
My vacuum is not suctioning properly, what should I do?
First check if the tank is full and empty it. Check if the filter is clogged; clean or replace it. Also inspect the hose and tube for blockages. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
Which bags are compatible with the Rotel U6744CH?
Use original Rotel bags ref. U6744BAG. Equivalent quality generic bags may also work, but we recommend original bags to ensure performance.
The power cord of my vacuum does not retract, what can I do?
Press the rewind pedal while holding the cord slightly taut. If the cord remains stuck, gently pull it out a few centimeters and try again. Never force it, as you may damage the mechanism.
Can I use my Rotel U6744CH vacuum to pick up cold ash?
No, this vacuum is not designed for picking up ash or hot substances. Use a special ash vacuum to avoid damaging the motor and reducing fire risk.
How do I reset the overheating protection?
If the vacuum stops abruptly, unplug it and let it cool for 30 to 60 minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on. If the problem recurs, check for blockages or contact customer service.
What is the length of the suction hose?
The hose is approximately 2 meters. Combined with the telescopic tube, the total operating radius reaches 9 meters from the outlet.
How can I adjust the suction power?
Turn the dial on the vacuum body. Turn it towards plus to increase suction on thick carpets, and towards minus for hard floors.
Where can I buy spare parts for my Rotel U6744CH?
You can order spare parts on the official Rotel website or from authorized dealers. Use the reference U6744CH to find compatible parts.
