OPERATION

Connecting to power

• Slide emergency switch to standard mode. Plug DC plug into a car's cigarette lighter socket or other DC 12V/24 V socket. -For using with alternating current AC 100-240 V, please insert the AC plug into a AC socket
• If the fridge is only built-in DC specification, allocate a suitable power adapter (external adapter); connect the DC plug to AC adapter, then plug the adapter to AC socket directly.

Preparing before use

1. Use a damp cloth to clean the refrigerator inside and outside when the first time use this fridge. Specifics please refer to the "cleaning and maintenance"
2. For convenient using, the lid can be opened from left or right side. Also you can take down the lid through pressing the lid locks at the same time.

Turning on the freezer

• After switch on the power, power indicator light will be orange. Digital display is without displaying, the freezer is standing by.
  Press button three seconds continually.
• Digital display will show the interior current temperature. Power light will turn to Green, the freezer start refrigerating.

Temperature Setting and gear setting of battery protector (Low voltage protection)

• Press button once, start setting temperature status.
  Combining to set temperature from -22^ to 10^
• Press button once again, start exchange status for centigrade degree and Fahrenheit degree.
• Combining to exchange centigrade degree and Fahrenheit degree.
• Press button once again, start gear setting status for battery protector.
  Combining button to set the gear of battery protector among HI, MED, LO.
• Press button once again, drop out from setting status, setting is already effective or acknowledged while digital display flash five times after setting.
• Digital display will show the interior temperature of freezer.

Notes:

• Temperature range of the Display is -30-60 °C.
• The keys + and - should be used combining with the SET button. Without pressing the SET button, pressing + and - or is without function.
• The setup parameters are still effective when the freezer is energized again, it means that the freezer have power of memory function.
• When the freezer's interior temperature reaches the setup temperature, compressor stop work. Power indicator light turn to orange color. In switch on status, the colour of power indicator light shows the compressor status, Green indicates working, orange indicates stopping.

Turning off the freezer

In working status, press button three seconds continually to turn off the freezer. Pull out DC cable's cigarette lighter.

Energy-saving tips

• Select a well-ventilated place and keep the fridge away from heat or direct sunlight.
  Cool the hot food before putting into the fridge.
• Reduce the times and lasting time to open the fridge cover.
  Defrost in time when inner frost.
• Setting temperature properly and reduce unnecessary low temperature setting.

EMERGENCY MODE AND USB PORT

• While the operating panel malfunctions, Emergency mode is applicable. Slide Emergency switch to EMERGENCY OVERRIDE mode, start this function.
• In such mode, setting temperature function is not valid, refrigerating speed is down, and this mode is only for provisional use.
• During normal using, emergency mode is not applicable. Emergency mode is only used while the operat- ing panel is malfunctioning.

MANIPULATING OF BATTERY PROTECTOR

• While the battery's voltage drops to the setup data, freezer's compressor will stop working. so as to protect the battery against over discharge; Once the battery's voltage reaches the restart data after charging, freezer's compressor will start immediately.
  While the battery's voltage is too low, battery protector will take effect. Red malfunction indicator light will blink. Now you need to charge the battery.
• While the battery protector cut off the battery connection, you should warrant the battery to be charged sufficiently, so as avoid frequent restarting of compressor.

• If you use aoto power for starting the battery power, HI gear is proposed, so as to warrant that vehicle's battery power is in high level.
• If you use additional battery for power supply, LO gear is applicable.
• If you use AC/DC adapter(External Adatper)for power supply, please set the battery protector to LO gear.
• Freezer is designed to have the function to rework when connect to power after power off. If the freezer is shutdown under abnormal situation, it will work automatically when connect to power again.

• Use wet cloth to clean fridge's inside frequently.
• Clean heat dissipation window frequently to ensure good heat dissipation.

Note: Do not clean with abrasive materials or hard and shrill toolings.

How to change the fuse

1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Loose the cap of cigarette lighter.
3. Take out the embedded fuse.
4. Change faulty fuse for a new one with correct specification (insert style 32 V 10-15 A)
5. Tighten the cap.

Note: Possible malfunction or damage. Rated current for fuse should be within 10-15 A, no less than 10 A and Max. is 15 A. Fuse with rated current more than 15 A will burn battery fuse in car when fridge uses car battery.

• Fuse with rated current less than 10 A will be easily burnt during compressor starting procedure.

Steps for changing the light inside

• Steps for changing the light inside unplug the power cord and open cover of the fridge. Pry the light cover by using screwdriver, dismantle the light fixing board take out the light component and disconnect con- nector wire.
• Change the faulty light and pull out the light components.
• Insert connector wire and fix the light fixing board.
  Fix light cover.

Defrosting

• Water vapour may frost on freezer's inwall. This will reduce the freezer's refrigerating capacity. It is necessary to defrost in time.
  Defrosting steps are as below:
  Take the stored material from the freezer.
• If it is necessary, the stored-material could be stored in another freezer.
• Cut off the power, open the freezer's door(or lid), keep it open until the ice and frost melt away.
• Use clean cloth to wipe the frost water.

Note: Never use stiff or sharp tools for deicing or prizing up the frozen material.
