How long does it take to charge the trimmer for the first time?

For the first use, charge the trimmer for a full 4 hours.

How to adjust the cutting length?

Use the adjustment wheel to choose from 9 lengths, from 1.5 mm to 18 mm. Turn clockwise for a shorter cut, counterclockwise for longer.

Can I use the trimmer while plugged in?

Yes, you can use the trimmer while plugged in, but prolonged use on mains may reduce battery life. It is recommended to charge for 5 minutes before use.

How to clean the blades?

Remove the blades from the body (push upward under the blades). Wash them under running water, then dry thoroughly. The main body is not washable.

What to do if the battery no longer holds a charge?

Without the adjustable cutting guide, you can cut to 1 mm (0.4 mm if the blades are held perpendicular to the skin).

Can the trimmer be used on wet skin?

No, hair must be dry. Avoid applying lotions before use.

How to remove the adjustable cutting guide?

Make sure the trimmer is off. Slide the guide down the grooves while holding the wheel so it doesn't turn.

How to trim the back of the neck alone?

Use a mirror. Remove the guide, place a finger on the hair roots at the base of the head to protect them, then pass the trimmer from bottom to top.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Always check the appliance before you use it. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, as this may cause injury.
• The adaptor contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adaptor to replace it with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.

CHARGING YOUR APPLIANCE

Before using your trimmer for the first time, charge for 4 hours.

1. Ensure the product is switched off.
2. Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to the mains.
3. The charging indicator will illuminate.

• Your trimmer cannot be overcharged. However, if it is not going to be used for an extended period of time (2-3 months), unplug it from the mains and store.
• To preserve the life of your batteries, let them run out every 6 months then recharge for 4 hours.
• On a full charge, your beard trimmer will run for up to 60 minutes of cordless usage.

CORDED

• Connect the appliance to the mains and turn on.
  We recommend you let the product charge for a few minutes before using corded.

CAUTION: Extended mains only use will result in the reduction of the battery life.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

FITTING THE ADJUSTABLE COMB

• Hold the trimmer in one hand with your thumb firmly on the zoom wheel to keep it from turning. Ensure the length position indicator is at 1.
• Slide the comb down the grooves until it clicks into place.
• The comb can only be attached one way.

ADJUSTING THE TRIM LENGTH

• The trimmer comb can be adjusted to give you 9 different trim lengths simply by turning the wheel to the desired setting.

• Turn the wheel clockwise for shorter length, anti-clockwise for longer length.

• The wheel will click into place as it reaches each setting and the setting number will appear on the length position indicator.

TO THIN AND TAPER THE BEARD/MOUSTACHE

1. Fit the adjustable comb.
2. Use the zoom wheel to set the comb to the desired length setting.
3. The setting will appear on the length position indicator. If you are trimming for the first time start with the maximum trimming length setting.
4. Turn the unit on.
5. Place the flat top of the trimmer comb against the skin.
6. Slowly slide through the hair. Repeat from different directions as necessary.
7. If hair builds up in the trimmer comb during the trimming process, switch the unit off, pull the comb and brush the hair off.

Note: Use the beard trimmer without the adjustable comb for trimming hair close to the skin. This will trim hair to 1mm, holding the blades perpendicular to the skin will trim hair to 0.4mm.

TRIMMING THE NAPE OF YOUR NECK

Note: you will need a hand mirror for this operation if performing it alone.

1. Remove the adjustable comb.
2. Use your fingers to lift the hair at the base of your head up off the neck. Your index finger should be covering the roots of the hairs you are lifting to prevent accidental removal by the beard trimmer.

3. Using your other hand, hold the trimmer to the base of your neck with the cutting unit facing up and move the trimmer up the length of the neck until it touches your finger covering the hair roots at the base of your head.

4. Be sure to move the unit slowly when performing this operation and to keep the roots at the base of your head out of the way of the trimmer.

TO DEFINE THE BEARD/MOUSTACHE LINE

1. Hold the trimmer with the trimmer blade facing you.
2. Start with the edge of beard/moustache line and gently lower the trimmer blade onto your skin.
3. Use motions towards the edge of the beard/moustache line to trim to desired locations in facial area and away from beard in neck area.

BLADE RELEASE

1. Ensure the trimmer is switched off.
2. Remove the adjustable comb.
3. Remove the blades by pushing your thumb upwards under the blades and move the blade set away from the trimmer body.
4. To reattach the blades, align the back of the blades with the back housing at the top of the trimmer and push down until the blade set clicks into place.

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

• Beard, moustache and sideburn hairs should be dry.
• Avoid using lotions before use.
• Comb your hair in the direction that it grows.

USING THE EDGEStyler

The EDGEStyler tool is used to guide your trimmer to create a symmetrical, defined edge to your beard.

Neck Line (Fig. A)

Hold the appropriate curved side of the tool underneath your jaw and run your trimmer along it for a clean edge. Repeat on the other side then even up the remaining V left under the chin freehand.

Cheek (Fig. B)

Hold the appropriate curved side of the tool against the cheek and run your trimmer along it for a clean edge. Repeat on the other side of your face.

Sideburn (Fig. C)

Use the straight edge of the tool against the sideburn for perfect, straight edges.

Moustache (Fig. D)

Use the curved edge of the tool to sculpt the moustache area.

CARING FOR YOUR TRIMMER

• To ensure long lasting performance of the trimmer, clean the blades and unit regularly.
• Ensure the appliance is switched off and unplugged from the mains.
• Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners on the unit or blades.
• This product has washable blades. Ensure the blades are detached from the trimmer before washing the blades.
• Wash the blades under a running tap to remove any hair clippings.
  After rinsing under a tap ensure the blades are dry.
• Do not rinse while the product is connected to the mains.
• Please note the main body of the trimmer is not washable and should be kept away from water.
• After each use, it is recommended to clean hair from the blades either by rinsing the blades or using a cleaning brush.

BATTERY REMOVAL

The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the battery.

1. Turn the trimmer on and discharge all remaining power.
2. Remove the comb and cutter assembly.
3. Use a screwdriver to pry out the holder plate under the trimmer carefully.
4. Use a screwdriver to pry the two side panels carefully.
5. Remove the 4 screws from the housing.
6. Using a screwdriver carefully pry apart the top and bottom housing.
7. Unscrew the 2 screws on the circuit board.
8. Remove the upper circuit board.
9. Disconnect the battery from the low circuit board.
10. Used batteries must be removed from the appliance and disposed of at an appropriate official recycling/collection point.

Držite odgovarajući zakrivljeni dio sprave naspram obraza i vodite svoj trimer duž njega za stvaranje preciznog ruba. Ponovite postupak s druge strane lice.

Koristite ravni rub sprave naspram zaliska za stvaranje savrsenih, ravnih rubova.

Koristite zakrivljeni rub sprave za oblikovanje područja brkova.

ODRžAVANJE VAŠEG TRIMERA

Da biste osigurali dugotrajni rad vaseg trimera brade, redovito cistite ostrice i urejad.
- Osiguraje da je uredaj iskjučen i iskopčan iz uticnice elektricne mreže.
