SAFETY ADVICE
When using electric appliances you should always follow the basic safety measures, which include:
- Read all the instructions before using the appliance.
- Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage in your home.
- To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- To avoid burns, always hold the product by the handle.
- Close supervision is required when the appliance is being used by children or near them.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning. Do not disassemble the parts if not necessary.
- Allow the appliance to cool before fitting or removing parts and before cleaning them.

- Do not clean the appliance with a metal scouring pad. Pieces may become detached and come into contact with electric parts, posing a risk of electric shock.
- When not in use, do not store any material in this unit apart from the accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- The following materials must not be put inside the unit: paper, cardboard, plastic, etc.
- This product is not intended for use by children or other persons without assistance or supervision if their physical, sensory or mental condition hinders its safe use. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- All the parts of the soup maker should be cleaned well before using for the first time.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Position the jug (3) and turn slightly in a clockwise direction so that it slots into the motor base (4). Fill the jug with the food you want. Make sure that the water does not exceed the maximum capacity of 1500ml . Do not use the appliance without any food inside.
- Place the lid on the jug and press down. Insert the measuring cup and turn it anticlockwise until it fits into place.

When you press the ON/OFF button (6) the indicator light will come on.

Important: Do not touch the jug when the appliance is in operation, as the soup and the jug become very hot.
- The appliance will immediately go into standby mode.
- The indicator light of the ON/OFF button (6) goes off only when the appliance is plugged out.
- Do not keep the motor operating for more than 60 seconds at a time, or alternate 60 with seconds on then 60 seconds off, to prevent overheating or damage to the motor.
- This appliance has a built-in safety system, preventing operation if the jug is not properly attached to the main body.
- The appliance has Smooth, Chunky and Steam functions. Plug in the appliance and press one of the functions. That button will light up and the machine will operate in this mode.
- Allow the appliance to rest after every 2 minutes of continuous operation.
- Overfilling the jug may block the blender. Turn off the unit and unplug it, remove some material and then plug it in again.
After using the soup maker, always put it in the "OFF" position and unplug it from the mains. To remove the jug, simply separate it from the motor base by turning it anticlockwise.
Note: Remember not to leave the soup maker unattended while in operation.
USEFUL TIPS
- To get the best results when blending solid ingredients, place small pieces in the jug one by one instead of putting a large amount in at the same time.
- If you are processing solid ingredients, cut them into small pieces first (2-3 cm).
- When blending solid ingredients, start with a small amount of liquid. Gradually add more liquid through the opening in the lid.
- Always place your hand on the top of the blender when using the appliance.
SMOOTH FUNCTION (smooth soup)
- The total capacity should not exceed 1200ml
- Press the ON/OFF button (6). The appliance will go into standby mode.
- Press the SMOOTH button, the indicator light will come on and the appliance will start operating.
- When the indicator light goes off, you will hear some beeps. The operation has ended.
Note: The SMOOTH function is used to heat and blend.
CHUNKY FUNCTION (soup with pieces)
- The total capacity should not exceed 1200ml
- Press the ON/OFF button (6). The appliance will go into standby mode.
- Press the CHUNKY button, the indicator light will come on and the appliance will start operating.
- When the indicator light goes off, you will hear some beeps. The operation has ended.
Note: The CHUNKY function is used for heating, not for blending.
STEAM FUNCTION (hot soup and steamed foods)
- The total capacity should not exceed 1200ml
- Press the ON/OFF button (6). The appliance will go into standby mode.

When you press the STEAM button, the indicator light will come on and the appliance will start operating.

When the indicator light goes off, you will hear some beeps. The operation has ended.
Note: The STEAM function is used for heating, not for blending.
BLEND BUTTON
- The total capacity total should not exceed 1500ml and the ratio of water to food should be 3:2.
- Press the ON/OFF button (6). The appliance will go into standby mode.
- Turn the knob to the desired setting and the appliance will start operating. For blending, the BLEND2 position (5) is recommended.
Note: When using this button, the SMOOTH, CHUNKY and STEAM functions (7) cannot be used. Similarly, when a function is selected, the blend button cannot be used.
MOTOR BASE
Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid. Clean only with a damp cloth.
CLEANING THE JUG
Empty the jug and fill with water. Place the glass jug on the motor base and turn the knob several times at the maximum speed. Empty the jug and rinse until clean.
RECIPES
POTATO AND LEEK SOUP
Step 1: Cut the leek, potato and onion into small cubes. Then put the ingredients into the jug, adding olive oil and butter.
Step 2: Add the water (or chicken stock) up to the 1200ml max. level and then put the lid on (Note: The maximum capacity of the jug is 1.5L ).
Step 3: Press the ON/OFF button (6) to go into standby mode. Then press the SMOOTH button to start. (You can also select another function to start, such as CHUNKY or STEAM).
Step 4: Once this is done, the soup heats up and is gently blended.
Step 5: If necessary, add seasoning and blend by turning the blend button. Then pour out and allow to cool before serving.
FRUIT JUICE
Step 1: Peel the fruit and then cut into small cubes. Then put the ingredients into the jug.
Step 2: Add the water and put the lid on. The ratio of water to ingredients should be 3:2. (Note: the maximum capacity of the jug is 1.5L ).
Step 3: Press the ON/OFF button (6) and then turn the knob to the BLEND2 position (5). Add the ingredients you want through the opening in the lid. Remove the jug and pour the juice into a recipient for serving.
Note: When making juice or soya milk never use boiling water or liquid.
CREAMY TOMATO AND PEPPER SOUP
Ingredients:

1 red pepper

1 slice of squash
- 1 ripe tomato
- 1 leek
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 700cc of vegetable stock
Salt and pepper
-Tabasco sauce
Step 1: Put the tomato into boiling water first and then into cold water. Remove and peel the tomato.
Step 2: Cut the previously peeled and washed vegetables into small cubes.
Step 3: Put everything into the jug, making sure not to exceed the maximum capacity.
Step 4: Put the lid on and use the Chunky function (soup with pieces).
Step 5: When the programme has finished, season to taste and add a few drops of tabasco sauce.
CHILLED CHERRY SOUP
Ingredients:
- 500 g of cherries
- 150 ml of white wine
- 1 / 2 - 1 spoon of ground cinnamon
- 150 g of sugar
- 30 ml of lemon juice (optional), whipped cream for decorating
Step 1: Pit the cherries, keeping some whole cherries for decorating the soup later.
Step 2: Put all the ingredients into the soup maker. Pour in 370ml of water, close the lid and select the Smooth programme (smooth soup).
Step 3: When the soup is ready, pour it into a large container and let it cool in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
Tips: Serve with a few full cherries, whipped cream, etc.
This chilled dessert soup can also be enjoyed hot as an alternative to mulled wine at Christmas. If you don't want to add alcohol you can substitute it with orange juice.
