WARNING:

  • Incorrect or improper use may cause problems to this appliance or harm to users.
  • This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed. We decline all responsibility for damages resulting from the incorrect use of this appliance.
  • Before plugging in the appliance, check that the electricity supply and voltage coincide with the information shown on the label of the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the appliance or plug in water or any other liquid. If the appliance should fall into water, re plug from the socket immediately and have the blender examined by an expert before using it again. There is a lethal risk of electrocution.
  • Do not try to open the casing. Do not insert any object into the casing.
  • Do not use this household appliance with wet hand wet surfaces or in damp atmospheres.
  • Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be the manufacturer, its authorised technical service or by a qualified technician, to prevent risks.
  • Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. There is a risk of electrocution.
  • Make sure the cable is not hanging over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and flames. Pull out the plug to disconnect the appliance.
  • Installing a voltage surge suppressor with a nominal current switch of less than 30Ma in the household electricity circuit will offer additional protection. Ask your electrician about this.
  • Both the cable and any cable lengtheners that may be required must only be used in places where there is no risk of anyone accidentally pulling them or tripping over them.

  • If using a long cable lengthener, it must be appropriate for the electricity supply in question. Otherwise the cable and/or plug could overheat.

  • Place the appliance on a firm, flat, heat-proof surface, away from naked flames (such as gas cookers) and do not use the appliance when there are children near.
  • This appliance is not appropriate for commercial use or outdoor use.
  • This appliance may be used children aged 8 and over, and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or a lack of knowledge or experience as long as they are supervised or receive the correct instructions for the safe use of the appliance, and are aware of the risks it poses.
    Children must not play with the appliance.
    Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without proper supervision.
  • Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning it.

  • Do not remove any components from the casing.
  • There is the possibility of excess pressure building up inside the blender when blending hot liquids/foods and this could cause the lid to come off and the contents to be spattered. For this reason, it is advisable to not blend very hot foods and to put only small quantities of liquids or hot foods in the blender.

SPECIAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Caution: The jug blades are very sharp. They could cause injury. Do not touch the inside of the jug or insert objects into it when the blades are turning.
  • Only use equipment that is authorised by the manufacturer.
  • This appliance must only be used with the hermetic lid closed.
  • This appliance is fitted with a safety function. The appliance must only be turned on if the jug is correctly positioned on the motor base. If the appliance does not start, remove the cable and check the connection between the jug and the motor base.

INSTALLATION

  1. Wash the measuring beaker, lid, jug (not the main body) etc. before use.
  2. Check that the appliance is off and do not connect it until the installation has been completed.
  3. First, put the hermetic seal at the base of the blades in place and then fit the base of the blades on the jug. Lastly, turn the jug gently for it to lock into place.
  4. Place the glass jug of the blender on the main body and turn it slightly clockwise so that it fits into the motor part. Put the food into the jug. Check that no water falls from the beaker. (The maximum water capacity is 1500ml ). DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE WHEN EMPTY.
  5. Put the lid on the jug and turn it until it locks into place. Put the lock on the lid and turn until it locks into place.
  6. Put the measuring beaker in the centre of the lid and turn in an anti-clockwise direction.

OPERATION

  1. Plug in the blender. Check that the control switch is at "O" before plugging it in. The blue control light will go on for one second, which means it is properly connected.
  2. This appliance has a safety function, and will not work if the jug is not correctly positioned on the main body.
  3. Put the food in the jug.
  4. Put on the lid and close it. Put the measuring beaker in the centre of the lid and turn it slightly in an anti-clockwise direction.

  5. Position the jug on the top base of the main body.

  6. Turn the control to the "I" setting. The blue light framing the control switch will light up.
  7. The blender has the following functions: "SMOOTHIE, "ICE", "TURBO". Press one of the buttons and that button will light up and the appliance will start operating.
  8. To select the speed, put the control between "MIN" (minimum speed) and (maximum speed) to select the desired speed.
  9. Use the appliance for no more than 2 minutes at one time, and wait 1 minute before using it again.

Caution:

  1. The blender will not work if the jug is too full. If this occurs, turn off the appliance and do not plug it in. Remove some of the contents and then turn it on again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

In addition to reading these instructions, read the safety precautions.
- Do not wash the motor, the main body, cable or plug with water.
Clean the motor base with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent.
- Half fill the jug with hot water and a little detergent. Turn on the blender at maximum speed until the jug is clean.
- The base and blades can be dismantled. Unscrew the base by turning it in an anticlockwise direction. Remove the blades and the rubber seal by pulling them upwards.
- Then wash the jug, closing device, base and blades with the rubber seal in hot water and detergent. Dry all the parts well before replacing them. CAUTION! The blades in the jug are very sharp.
- Do not use aggressive detergents.

Warning:

Do not touch the blades; they are sharp. After cleaning, wipe with a dry cloth to avoid injury.

Unwanted electrical products must not be disposed of with household waste. Take this appliance to your local recycling centre for safe disposal.
