IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

  1. Read all of the instructions carefully before using the electric mixer.
  2. To protect against electric shock, do not put the mixer or power cord in water or other liquids.
  3. Unplug the mixer from the mains when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
  4. If the power cord cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorised technical service or by a qualified engineer to prevent dangerous situations.
  5. Never use the mixer outdoors.
  6. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop, or touch hot surfaces such as the oven.
  7. Always unplug the mixer before assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.
  8. The blades are sharp. Handle them with care.
  9. Before plugging the mixer in, check that the voltage corresponds to the rated current indicated on its label.
  10. Do not plug the mixer in until it has been totally assembled and always unplug it before taking off or handling the blade.
  11. Do not let children use the mixer unattended.
  12. Do not let the motor body, cord or plug get wet.
  13. Do not put the mixer on top of hot ingredients.
  14. The mixer has been manufactured for processing normal amounts of food.
  15. Short operating time. Never use the mixer for over 1 minute, and do not use it for hard foods for over 10 seconds.
  16. If you press the "I" switch, you can use the slow speed switch to blend in the required mode. The "II" switch, however, cannot be changed.

  17. Always unplug the mixer from the mains if you have to leave it unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.

  18. Improper use may result in injuries.
  19. Be careful with the sharp blades when you empty the container and when you wash it.
  20. Turn the mixer off and unplug it from the mains before changing the accessories or coming close to parts that move when operating.
  21. Adults or children must not operate this appliance without help or supervision if they are physically, sensorially or mentally incapable of doing so safely. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  22. Keep hands and utensils away from the container when blending, and away from the cutting blade when chopping food to avoid being seriously injured or damaging the appliance. You can use a spatula, but only when the mixer is not working.

HOW TO USE THE MIXER (fig. 1)

The mixer is perfect for making sauces, soups, mayonnaise and baby food, and for mixing and making shakes and batters.

  1. Fasten the shaft firmly into the motor body.
  2. Put the mixer into the jug. Choose the required speed turning the selector above the operating buttons.
  3. Press the side buttons (5) at the same time to release the shaft. You can use the mixer in the measuring jug or any other container.
  4. Never use the mixer for over 1 minute continuously. Leave it to stand for 1 minute after use.

PRECAUTION: The blade is very sharp.

PRECAUTION: Do not use food without water or liquid.

HOW TO USE THE CHOPPER BOWL (fig. 2)

  1. The chopper is perfectly suitable for hard foods, such as meat, cheese, onions, garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, etc.
  2. Do not chop extremely hard foods, such as ice cubes, coffee grains or grains.

Before chopping:

  1. Carefully remove the chopper's plastic lid.
    PRECAUTION: The blade is very sharp. Always pick it up using the top plastic part.
  2. Put the blade into the centre part of the chopper bowl. Push the blade in and lock the bowl. Always place the cutting bowl on the nonslip base.
  3. Put the food into the bowl.
  4. Put the lid onto the bowl.

  6. Select the speed and press the "I" switch or "II" switch to use the chopper. During processing, hold the motor body with one hand and the chopper bowl with the other.
  7. Remove the motor body from the chopper bowl after use.
  8. Remove the blade with care.
  9. Do not chop hard food for more than 10 seconds. Leave it to stand for 2 minutes after use.

HOW TO USE THE WHISK ATTACHMENT (fig. 3)

Only use the whisk to whip cream, whisk egg whites and mix sponge mixtures and ready-made deserts for whisking.

  1. Put the whisk attachment into its holder, and firmly fasten it into the motor body.
  2. Select the speed turning the selector above the operating buttons and press the "I" switch or "II" switch to select the maximum speed.
  3. Do not use the whisk for more than 2 minutes. Leave it to stand for 2 minutes after use.
  4. Turn the gearbox to remove the motor body after use. Remove the whisk from the gearbox.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE (fig. 4)

Clean the motor body and chopper bowl only with a damp cloth.

Do not submerge the motor body in water.

  1. Unplug the mixer before cleaning it.
  2. All other parts can be washed in the dishwasher. However, the blades should be immediately cleaned after processing very salty foods.
  3. You should also attempt to avoid using too much detergent or limescale cleaners.
  4. Processing hot food can decolour the mixer's plastic parts. Clean these parts with vegetable oil before putting them in the dishwasher.
  5. The blade is very sharp, handle it with care.
  6. Unplug the mixer before cleaning it.
