During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it. The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months. The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:
- If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
- In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
- In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
- In case of insucient or incorrect maintenance.
- In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorised third parties.

- This appliance may be used by children from the age of 16 and up, and also by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation, as well as mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. - Do not pull the cord. Do not use the cord as a handle. Do not jam the cord between a door or do not pull it around corners or sharp edges. Do not run the vacuum cleaner over the cord. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces.
- Do not touch the plug or the vacuum cleaner when you have wet hands.
- Do not put any objects in the openings of the vacuum cleaner. Do not use the appliance when an opening is blocked.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers and other body parts away from openings of the vacuum cleaner and from moving parts.
- Be extra careful when cleaning stairs.
- Never use the vacuum cleaner to pick up any combustible or inammable liquids like gasoline, or do not use the appliance in places where such substances might be present.
- Remove large and sharp objects from the oor before vacuuming it to prevent possible damage.
- Hold the plug while rewinding the cord onto the cord reel. Do not let the plug whip back and forth during rewinding.
- Unplug the appliance before connecting the hose.
- Do not pick up any burning or smoking objects, like cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner without dust bag and/or lter.

ASSEMBLY Always unplug the vacuum cleaner before (dis)assembling any parts. HOSE
- Assembly: Push the coupling of the exible hose into the connector hole until you hear it click.
- Disassembly: Pull the plug from the outlet. Push the button at the top of the coupling and remove the hose from the connector hole. TELESCOPIC TUBE
1. Put the handle of the hose into the telescopic tube.
2. Set the telescopic tube to the desired length. To do this, push the slide button forward
and pull out the bottom part of the tube to make it longer. Release the slide button and let the tube snap into place.
3. Attach the oor nozzle to the telescopic tube by rmly sliding the tube into the nozzle.
2. Crevice nozzle: for hard to reach areas like radiators,
crevices, corners, in between pillows,... The front part of the crevice nozzle can be tilted so that the brush is visible: for furniture, shelves,... USE
- Unwind the cord to a substantial length and plug in the vacuum cleaner. The yellow label on the cord indicates the maximum length of the cord, that should not be exceeded. Make sure that the red label is not visible during use.
- To turn the vacuum cleaner on and o, press the foot pedal with the symbol.
- When you want to clean hard oors, make sure that the brushes in the oor nozzle are down. When you want to clean carpet, make sure that the brushes in the oor nozzle are retracted. The brush can be adjusted by means of the button on the oor nozzle for retraction or extension.
- On the handle that is attached to the tubes, there is a small slide button for extra suction control.
- When you have nished vacuuming, unplug the vacuum cleaner and automatically rewind the cord by pressing the foot pedal with the symbol. Make sure that the plug does not whip back and forth while rewinding the cord, by guiding the cord with your hand. This to prevent possible damage.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning your vacuum cleaner or accessories, always turn o the appliance and remove the plug from the socket. DUST CONTAINER
- Hold the handle of the dust container and press the silver button with the symbol . Carefully pull the dust container up.
- Hold the dust container above the dustbin. Press the button with the symbol on the back of the dust container, which opens the bottom and allows the dust to fall out.
- If necessary, wipe the dust container clean with a soft, damp cloth.
- Once the dust is removed, close the bottom until you hear it click.
FILTERS The appliance has 2 lters. During a normal cleaning it will do to just beat out the lters. You should rinse the lters 3 to 4 times a year. Dry them completely or if necessary you can also replace them. After cleaning and drying the lters, place them back in the vacuum cleaner. Filter in the dust container:
- Remove the dust container from the appliance as described above. Lift the cover of the dust container with the text “open” to open the dust container.
- The cover of the dust container has a lter. Remove it by pulling on the handle with the text “pull”.
- The sponge can be removed from the lter (A). This sponge can be cleaned under running water. Allow it to air dry before replacing it. The other part (B) of the lter can be shaken clean above a dustbin. A B
- Make sure that all parts are replaced correctly before using the vacuum. Air outlet lter: HEPA This lter will clean the air before leaving your vacuum cleaner. The air outlet lter is situated at the back of the vacuum cleaner. Remove the grill and take out the lter. Clean under running water, let it dry thoroughly before replacing it into the vacuum cleaner. CAUTION:
- Always use the vacuum cleaner with the lters in place. If not, this can lead to loss of power or damage to the motor.
- Do not place the lters in the dishwasher.
- Do not use a hair dryer to dry the lters.30 DO7286S
