What is the minimum distance to install the hood above a gas hob?

The minimum distance between the cooking surface and the bottom of the hood is 65 cm for a gas hob. If your hob's manual indicates a larger distance, follow that.

How to clean the grease filters of the hood?

Aluminum filters are cleaned by soaking them in hot water (40-50°C) with a degreasing detergent for 3 minutes, then gently brushing. You can also put them in the dishwasher at 60°C. Avoid abrasive detergents.

How to replace the LED bulb of the hood?

Turn off and unplug the appliance. Remove the aluminum filter by pulling it downwards. Replace the defective LED bulb with a bulb of 2.5 W max (type G4 or similar, depending on the model). Put the filter back in place.

Can the hood work in recirculation mode?

Yes, in recirculation mode, the air is filtered and returned to the room. To do this, turn the selector to the inner position and install a charcoal filter (not supplied).

What to do if the hood does not turn on or does not work?

First check the power supply (cable, plug). Make sure the filters are correctly installed. If the problem persists, contact an authorized technical service.

How to install the hood under a cabinet?

Drill 4 holes of 6 mm diameter at the bottom of the cabinet. Fix the hood with the screws, washers and nuts provided, passing the screws through the top of the cabinet. See the diagram of method B in the manual.

What are the available speed levels?

The hood has 3 speeds: Low, Medium and High. Use high speed for maximum extraction during strong odors.

The power cord is damaged, what to do?

Do not use it. Contact an authorized technical service or the manufacturer for replacement. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

How to set up external air extraction?

Turn the position selector to the external position (picture 7A). Install an exhaust duct to the outside. Make sure the air outlet is unobstructed.

Is the hood eligible for spare parts?

The cooker hood is used on 220/240v, 50Hz.

1. The cooker hood uses high quality materials, and is made with a streamlined design.

2. Equipped with a large power low noise electric motor and centrifugal leaf, it produces strong suction, low noise, non stick grease filter and easy to clean.

3. With the isolated low voltage circuit board control, 12vDC input, the lights are therefore safer.

4. Special wind tunnel construction and oil collector design, free dirt will be absorbed in a second.

(4). INSTALLATION

Method A

1. For best results, the hood should be installed at a distance of 65-75cm cooking surface for better performance. Look pic 1.
2. For wall mounting, drill 4 holes of 8mm diameter in a suitable place according to the distance between the center of the holes in the back of the hood. Look pic 2.
3. Insert wall plugs into the holes.
4. Insert the screws into the wall plugs and tighten.
5. Hang the hood onto the screws. Look pic 3.
6. Then insert the locking screws in the rest of anchors and tighten them to secure the hood to the right wall. Look pic 4.
7. Turn the valve on top of the hood.

Method B Look pic 5:

1. Drill 4 holes of 6mm diameter at the bottom of the cabinet where it will hang.
2. Turn the valve on the air outlet of the hood, then install the hood to the cabinet bottom, fitting with the 4 screws, flat gasket and nuts provided. Pass the screw with a flat gasket, put another flat gasket on the other end and tighten the nut.

Noise: There are 2 modes of ventilation, horizontal fan and vertical ventilation. Please pay attention to the ventilation mode when installing.

Horizontal ventilation Look 6A drawing, please use the lid to cover the top exit, so air can be vented by the back.

Vertical Ventilation: Look 6B drawing, please use the lid to cover the rear exit, so air can be vented from the top.

Adjusting the air absorption

Ventilation air to the outside Turn the outside position selector (Dib 7A), install the outlet, turn on the fan, then the air will be expelled for external output.

Ventilation air inside: Turn the dial inside position (Dib 7B), install the outlet cover, turn on the fan, then the air can be expelled from the inside out.

THE CLASS 1 HOOD MUST BE EARTHED

The connection should be made as follows:

BROWN = L (live)

BLUE = N (neutral)

YELLOW/GREEN = Earth

THE CLASS 2 HOOD MUST NOT BE EARTHED

Second class hoods with the characteristics label containing the double square symbol.

The connection should be made as follows;

BROWN = L (live)

BLUE = N (neutral)

(5) OPERATION

Using the control panel (Dib 8):

1. Press the Stop button to stop the engine.
2. Press the button to select Low low speed.
3. Press the button to select Mid average speed.
4. Press the button to select High speed.
5. Press the Light button to turn both lights. Press the button again to turn them off.

(6) MAINTENANCE

Change and filter cleaning

• Remove the filters as shown in pic 9.
• You can clean the filters as shown below:
• Soak for about 3 minutes in hot water (40-50 degrees) with detergent grease remover after gently clean them with a brush. Do not apply too much pressure to avoid damage.
• They may be in the dishwasher with detergent, at a temperature of 60 degrees.
• Do not use an abrasive detergent in them could damage the hood.
• Make sure the hood is off before cleaning.

• Before changing the lights, make sure the appliance is switched off and unplugged.
• Press the aluminum filter handle to the rear of the hood to the front desangle and remove it by pulling down.
• Replace LED light using only 2.5W.
• Place the aluminum filter in its original position.
