USER MANUAL OFEN Mini 68825 UNOLD
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Please read the following instructions and keep them on hand for later reference.
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appli- ance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless con- tinuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have

use of other accessories can result in hazards and can also dam- age the appliance.
The appliance is intended for household use only, or for similar areas of use, such as: kitchenettes in businesses, offices or other workplaces, agricultural enterprises, for use by guests in hotels, motels or other lodgings, in private guesthouses or holiday homes.
18. Do not pull on the power cord. Do not hang the power cord over
the edge of a countertop. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance and avoid kinking of the power cord.
19. Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with

23. The appliance does not shut off automatically. Therefore, set
the temperature selector switch to 0 and unplug the appliance after use.
24. In spite of the integrated timer that switches off the appliance
after a maximum of 30 minutes, after preparing food the tem- perature regulator must be set to 0/OFF/AUS and the mains plug must be unplugged.
Never cover the appliance with aluminium foil or other objects during operation. This also applies for the crumb tray; the crumb tray must always be freely accessible.
26. Never clean the appliance with scouring sponges that contain
metal. Scouring pads that contain metal can cause electric shock if the contact electrical components!
27. Please note that the food that is prepared in the appliance must
not be heavier than 3.0 kg. Place the prepared food uniformly on the baking sheet, or the grill grate to avoid one-sided load.
28. Never place paper, plastic or other similar objects in the oven.
29. If you notice scratches or other damage on the glass door of
the appliance, please contact our customer service organisation before placing the appliance in service again.
30. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
31. All parts must be completely dry before being assembled.
32. Please allow the appliance to cool completely before moving,
cleaning or storing it. Before handling the appliance, always unplug it from the electrical outlet.
33. Check the plug and the power cord regularly for wear or damage.
In case of damage to the power cord or other parts, please send the appliance for inspection and/or repair to our after sales ser
vice. Unauthorized repairs can result in serious risks to the user and will void the warranty. CAUTION: The appliance becomes very hot during operation! Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in electric shock. The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties. Copyright UNOLD AG | www.unold.de22 GENERAL INFORMATION CAUTION! The appliance becomes very hot during operation, also on the outer sur- faces. Therefore, be sure to maintain sufficient clearance between the ap- pliance and all flammable objects; also provide for sufficient ventilation. Always use pot holders whenever the appliance is in operation or as long as it is still hot.
1. Your oven is ideal for daily use in preparing a wide variety of foods. Since
cooking times can vary, we recommend that you keep an eye on the cooking process and check the food regularly for doneness.
2. For some recipes we recommend pre-heating the appliance. For these reci-
pes, switch on the appliance 5 to 10 minutes ahead of time and select the temperature specified in the recipe.
3. Do not use metal objects to clean the housing or baking sheet. The baking
sheet is not suitable for cutting. Never cut cake or pizza on the baking sheet.

do not place any objects such as pans and dishes on the open glass door.
6. Always open the glass door carefully; escaping hot air could result in burns.
7. We recommend using the oven to keep food that has finished cooking warm
only for a short time, since otherwise it can dry out.

9. When not in use, you must always unplug the appliance from the electrical
outlet. BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Remove all packaging materials from the appliance and ensure that all parts
are complete and undamaged. Keep packaging materials away from chil- dren– danger of suffocation!
2. Wash the removable parts in warm water with mild dishwashing detergent.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool. Rinse off the parts with clean water. Dry all parts thoroughly.
3. Wipe off the housing with a damp cloth.
4. If the heating elements need to be cleaned, wipe them off with a well wrung-
out damp cloth. Ensure that water cannot get into the housing.
5. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
6. Note: The first time you use the appliance, it is possible that there will be
some smoke. This smoke is normal and does not represent a hazard. How- Copyright UNOLD AG | www.unold.de23 ever, we recommend pre-heating the appliance before first use to eliminate any residue.
7. Place the appliance on a heat-proof, sturdy and level surface.
8. Leave sufficient space between the appliance and walls and other flammable
objects, such as curtains.
9. Ensure that all switches are set to the 0/OFF/AUS position.
10. Plug the power cord of the appliance into an electrical outlet (220–240 V ~
AC). As soon as the appliance is connected to the mains supply the indica- tor light is illuminated.
11. Using the temperature selector switch, set the appliance to 230°C and turn
the timer to 30 minutes.
12. Open the window during this burn-in phase. After pre-heating the appliance
there may already be visible traces of use; however, these do not affect the function of the appliance and do not constitute grounds for a complaint.
13. Switch off the appliance (all switches on 0/OFF/AUS and allow the appli-
ance to cool completely.
14. Now your appliance is ready for use.
1. Prepare the dish as desired.
2. Plug the power cord of the appliance into an electrical outlet (220–240 V~
AC). As soon as the appliance is connected to the mains supply the indica- tor light is illuminated.
3. Use the temperature regulator to set the desired temperature.
4. Via the timer, select the desired cooking time between 0 and 30 by setting
the timer control to the desired operating time. After this time has elapsed, a signal tone sounds and the heating elements of the appliance switch off. If you want to prepare a dish that takes longer than 30 minutes in the oven, it may be necessary to set the timer several times. Naturally, you can readjust the timer settings at any time while the oven is in operation.
5. Place the food in the oven and close the glass door of the appliance.
Grill grate: Suitable for food to be baked au gratin, and food in baking pans, and also as a holder for the baking sheet. The baking sheet can be placed on the grill grate. Baking sheet: Suitable preparation of foods that require water or that lose liquid during the cooking process.
6. The appliance automatically switches off the heating elements after the set

7. In addition when the dish is done, turn the temperature regulator to 0/OFF/
8. To safely switch off the appliance, unplug the mains plug from the electrical
outlet. The indicator light will go out. CAUTION: The appliance is very hot during and after operation! The door and the outer surface can become very hot during operation. Before cleaning, switch off the appliance (set all switches to 0/ OFF/AUS) and unplug the mains plug from the electrical outlet. Allow the appliance to cool completely.
1. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids in order to clean it.
2. All removable parts, such as the baking sheet and grill grate, etc. can be
washed in warm water with mild dishwashing detergent. After washing, rinse the parts with clean water and dry them thoroughly.
3. In case food ever burns on, you can briefly soak the specific part in hot water
with mild dishwashing detergent to remove all residues.
4. If the heating elements need to be cleaned, wipe them off a well wrung-out

7. The interior surfaces of the oven are equipped with an easy-to-clean surface
and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Wipe off splashes immediately with a damp cloth.

Copyright UNOLD AG | www.unold.de25 RECIPES Pizza toast Ingredients: 2 slices bread for toasting, 1 slice cervelet salami, 1 slice cooked ham, 1 small tomato, 1 TBSP sliced mushrooms, 1 slice Edam cheese, 1 TBSP sour cream, ½ tsp oregano, salt and pepper to taste Preparation: Place the bread slices on the grate, insert the grate at the third level from the bottom and toast the bread briefly at 230°C top and bottom heat until the top side is slightly brown. Then turn and toast the other side briefly. Dice all ingredi- ents except the sour cream and spices, mix with the sour cream and spices and spread mixture on the toasted bread slices. Place the bread slices on the greased baking sheet, place the baking sheet on the grill grate and insert the grill grate in the oven at the third level from the bot- tom and brown at 230 °C with top and bottom heat for about 5 minutes. Pork steaks Ingredients: 2 pork steaks (200 g each), 1/2 tsp salt, a few dashes of Tabasco, 1/2tsp pa- prika, 1 TBSP oil Preparation: Prepare a marinade from the Tabasco, paprika and oil and marinate the steaks for approx. 2 hours. Place the seasoned steaks on the grill grate; grill the steaks at 230°C with top and bottom heat approx. 10 minutes on each side. TIP: To save time use steaks that have already been marinated (ready-to-grill steaks) from the butcher. Mixed vegetables Ingredients: 100g seasonal mixed vegetables, prepared, 1 TBSP mixed herbs, 1/2 tsp spices for vegetables Preparation: Cut larger vegetables into fine strips. Mix the vegetables with the spices and distribute on a piece of aluminium foil. Add butter in flakes, if desired. Take the foil by the corners and twist together to form small packages. Place the wrapped vegetables on the baking sheet and cook in the oven at 180°C with top and bottom heat for about 30 minutes. The cooking time can vary depending on the type of vegetables. After cooking, sprinkle the vegetables with fresh chopped herbs. Please bring this product to an approved collection point for recycling of electric and electronic products. By separate collection and disposal of waste products you help to protect natural resources and ensure, that the product is disposed in an adequate way to protect health and environment. We grant a 24 months guarantee, and in case of commercial use a 12 months guarantee, starting from the date of purchase for any damage demonstrably due to manufacturing defects and when the appliance has been used according to its intended use. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workmanship through repair or replacement, at our option. Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the re- sponsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly packaged and postage paid, together with a copy of the automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of purchase, and a description of the defect. If the defect is covered by the warranty, the customer will be reimbursed for the shipping costs only in Germany and Austria. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the appliance by third parties. Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty.
