Can I use this hairdryer in a bathroom?

It is not recommended to use the appliance in a bathroom, under a shower or near a bathtub. If you still use it, unplug it after each use and install a residual current device (30 mA) for added safety.

How to activate the cold air function?

Press the Cool air button (mark C) to interrupt the hot airflow and release cold air. Ideal for setting your hairstyle.

What accessories are included with the HD9681 model?

The hairdryer comes with a fine concentrator nozzle, a diffuser for volume, and two styling nozzles (one standard and one fast).

How to clean the hairdryer?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Clean it with a soft cloth. Never immerse the appliance or cable in water. The air intake grille is removable for easier cleaning.

What if the power cord is damaged?

Do not use the appliance. Contact an authorized service center to replace the cable. Any non-professional repair may be dangerous.

How to store the appliance after use?

- Keep the instruction manual for future use. Should a third party be given the appliance, please ensure the instruction manual is included.

■ Never use the appliance in the bath, shower or over a wash basin filled with water; nor should it be operated with wet hands.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or let it come into contact with water, even during cleaning.
  ■ Warning: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

Notes

• Check if the mains voltage on the type plate on the handle of the appliance corresponds to your local mains supply.
  ■ The Cool Shot interrupts the hot air with a flow of cold air. This allows you to fix your hairstyle better and more lastingly.

Caution

■ Never wind the power cord around the appliance, as this can result in damage. Check the power cord and the appliance regularly for visible damage.

Cleaning and care

■ Turn the appliance off and unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
■ Before cleaning, allow the appliance to cool down. The appliance can become very hot.

■ Before using the appliance after cleaning, dry all parts carefully with a soft cloth or paper towel.

Storage

If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully.
■ Make sure that it is unplugged, has completely cooled down and is completely dry.
