USER MANUAL BoomBoom 380 MARMITEK
- Do not expose the components of your system to extremely high temperatures or bright light sources.
- In case of improper usage or if you have altered and repaired the product yourself, all guarantees expire. Marmitek does not accept responsibility in the case of improper usage of the product or when the product is used for purposes other than specified. Marmitek does not accept responsibility for additional damage other than that covered by the legal product responsibility.
This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children. - Avoid using headphones/speakers with the volume turned up for an extended period of time. Doing so may damage your hearing. It is advisable to keep the volume at a moderate level at all times.
- Do not open the product (battery panel excepted): the device may contain live parts. The product should only be repaired or serviced by a qualified expert.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Dispose of batteries as chemical waste. Never use old and new batteries or different types of batteries together. Remove the batteries when you are not using the system for a longer period of time. Check the polarity (+/-) of the batteries when inserting them in the product. Wrong positioning can cause an explosion.
- Only connect the adapter to the mains after checking whether the mains voltage is the same as the values on the identification tags. Never connect an adapter or power cord when it is damaged. In that case, contact your supplier.
- Disconnect the AC/DC Power Adapter from the mains, when this device is not in use for a prolonged period of time.

INTRODUCTION
The Marmitek BoomBoom 380 Outdoor XL Bluetooth Speaker uses the latest Bluetooth technology that enables you to enjoy music and enhanced TV sound anywhere inside and around your house. You can simply pair the system to Bluetooth Devices such as iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Smartphone and Mobile, or even directly connect the system to any audio source such as Panel TV, DVD, and Hi-Fi/CD/MP3...etc. Without complicated wiring and installation to your Audio/Video equipment and rear channel amplifier, the system enables you to enjoy thrilling, lifelike stereo sound in minutes.

INSTALLATION
This Speaker can be powered either by connecting it to an AC/DC Power Adapter (Fig.2) for continuous playing, by 6 D Size 1.5V (non rechargeable) Batteries (Fig.3) for greatest portability, or by special Marmitek rechargeable batteries. Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly. The BoomBoom 380 will charge the Marmitek rechargeable batteries when connected to the AC/DC Power Adapter.

BLUETOOTH PAIRING
- Make sure the BoomBoom 380 is switched off.
- Turn on the BoomBoom 380 by pressing the POWER button and keep the button pressed. The Indicator LED will first turn Blue, then Green and then flashing Blue/Green. Now release the POWER button.
- Turn on a device that supports Bluetooth, such as an iPod, iPhone, Android or MP3 player and go to: Settings > General > Bluetooth. Click ON 'Bluetooth' and the BoomBoom 380 will appear on the device. Click on 'BoomBoom 380'. The device is now connected and paired with the speaker. If the device prompts for a pairing code, enter:"0000".
- When the Speaker and Bluetooth Source Device are successfully paired up, the LED will slowly flash Blue.
TURNING ON BLUETOOTH AUDIO
- Make sure the Bluetooth Source Device (e.g. Mobile Phone) to which the Speaker is paired up is switched on.
- Make sure the BoomBoom 380 is switched on. This can be done by pressing the Power Button once. The LED will first turn Blue, then flashing green and when a connection is made, it will slowly flash Blue.
- If your device does not connect automatically, go to the device's Bluetooth settings and select the BoomBoom 380. A connection will then be made.
- Play Music from the Bluetooth Source Device, and adjust Master Volume to the middle position.
- Music should be heard from the Speaker. Adjust the Volume from the Speaker to desired level by pressing + and -
- If the Volume Intensity from the Speaker is too weak, adjust the Master Volume from the Bluetooth Source Device accordingly.
- To switch off the Speaker, simply press the Power button once again.
STANDBY
When the distance between the BoomBoom 380 and your Bluetooth Source Device becomes too far apart, audio will default back to your Bluetooth Source device. If you come back in range of the BoomBoom 380 within three minutes, audio will switch back to the BoomBoom 380 automatically. If the Bluetooth Source device is out of range for more than three minutes, the BoomBoom 380 will go into standby mode. When the Bluetooth Source device comes back in range again, go to the pairing list on your device and select the BoomBoom 380. The Atmospheric Lighting of the BoomBoom 380 will start to glow steadily and the connection is made automatically.
Wired Connection
This BoomBoom 380 can also be used as a conventional Wired Stereo Speaker with Direct Line-In to your Panel TV or other Audio Devices simply by connecting the 3.5mm Audio Cable from the rear of the BoomBoom 380 to your Music Source.
When the Circuit inside the Speaker detects the Signal from Direct Line-In, the LED Indicator glows steadily in Green.

ATMOSPHERIC LIGHTING
The blue Atmospheric Lighting (6 fig.1) cannot be controlled manually. When the Mood Light is flashing, the rechargeable batteries are charging.
Frequently Asked Questions
No Sound
- Ensure the AC adaptor is fully inserted into the AC outlet and the power connection input on the transmitter.
- Ensure the BoomBoom 380 and Bluetooth device has been paired up.
- Ensure the BoomBoom 380 is switched ON.
- Ensure the TV or audio component is ON.
- The connected audio / video equipment is not playing. Start playing the equipment.
- The volume of BoomBoom 380 is too low. Adjust the volume to an appropriate level.
Distorted sound
- Ensure the volume level of the speaker is adjusted properly.
- The BoomBoom 380 is too far away from the Bluetooth device. Move them closer together.
- Ensure batteries are ok.
