Hot oil and fat can ignite very quickly. Never leave hot fat or oil unattended. Never use water to put out burning oil or fat. Switch off the hotplate. Extinguish flames carefully using a lid, fire blanket or something similar. Risk of fire!

The appliance becomes very hot and flammable materials could catch fire. Never store or use flammable objects (e.g. spray cans, cleaning agents) under the appliance or in its immediate vicinity. Never place flammable items on or in the appliance. Risk of burns!

The fish will be easier to turn. ■ Turn fish fillets only once if possible. Place fish onto the appliance with the skin facing downward. ■ Use oil and fat that is suitable for frying, for example plant oil or concentrated butter. Timer The timer can be used as a kitchen timer. The timer does not switch the Teppan Yaki on or off. With the timer, you can set a time up to 99 minutes.
