Please read this instruction man- ual thoroughly prior to using this appliance! Follow all safety in- structions in order to avoid dam- ages due to improper use! Keep the instruction manual for future reference. Should this ap- pliance be given to a third party, then this instruction manual must also be handed over.

This appliance is intended for private domestic use only and is not suitable for professional catering purposes. It should not be used for commercial use.

The blades are very sharp! Handle the sharp blades with utmost care, especially dur- ing removing and cleaning, in order to avoid injuries.

Never clean the appliance with bare hands. Always use a brush.

Do not touch any moving parts of the appliance. Do not at- tach or remove the parts until the appliance has come to a complete stop.

Always keep hair, clothing and any other utensils away from the appliance during opera- tion in order to prevent injury and damages.

Check if the mains voltage on the rating label corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the appliance from the mains is to pull out the plug.

Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.

For additional protection, this appliance should be con- nected to a household faulty current protection switch with no more than 30 mA. Consult your electrician for advice.

Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or power plug in water or in other liquids.

Always pull out the power plug before assembling the appliance, after using the ap- pliance, before disassembling, before cleaning the appliance, before leaving the room or if a fault occurs. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord.ENGLISH

Faulty or unqualified repair work may cause danger and risks to the user.

Do not dismantle the appliance under any circumstances. No warranty claims are accepted for damage caused by im- proper handling.

Cleaning and user mainte- nance shall not be made by children without supervision.

This appliance can be used by people who have limited physi- cal, sensory or mental capacity or who do not have knowledge and experience, provided that they are supervised or they understand the instructions with regard to safe use of the product and potential dangers. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance works should not be performed by children.

Dry the appliance and all parts before connecting it to the mains supply and before attaching the accessories.

Do not operate the appli- ance without ingredients in the measuring beaker or chopping bowl.

Never place the appliance, at- tachments, power cord or plug on hot surfaces such as gas or electric burners or hot oven sur- faces and never use with hot liquids or food. Let hot food and liquids cool down to min.

Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.

Never switch on the appliance for longer than necessary for processing the food.

Never use the appliance with damp or wet hands.

Operate the appliance with the delivered parts only.

The appliance is designed to process common household quantities only.

Do not use the appliance if the blades are damaged or show signs of wear.

Make sure that there is no dan- ger that the power cord could be accidentally pulled or that someone could trip over it when the appliance is in use.

Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is always accessible.

A spatula may be used to re- move the food from the meas- uring beaker and chopping bowl. Make sure that the ap- pliance is switched off before doing this.

To prevent overheating, do not use the appliance continuously for more than 10 seconds. After operating the appliance for 10 seconds, switch it off and wait for 1 minute to let it cool down if you would like to use it another 10 seconds.

We do not recommend operat- ing the appliance with dry or hard foods or for ice crushing as this may conclude in dull or damaged blades.

Remove bones and stones from food to prevent the blades and the appliance from being dam- aged.ENGLISH

If you would like to use the blending attachment directly in the pot, first take the pot off the stove to prevent the blending attachment from over- heating. Recipes Banana Milk Peel 2 bananas and cut them into circles. Then put the bananas you have cut in the measuring cup. Add 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar or 1 table- spoon of honey on it. Finally, add 2 glasses of milk and mix for 30 seconds at max speed using the chopper extension. Strawberry-Beet Smoothie Add 1 cup of water, 10-15 pieces of beets cut into cubes, a medium-sized banana kept inside a freezer for 1 hour, and 5 strawberries into the measuring cup and operate the appliance at the maximum speed setting for 30 seconds with the chopper extension. Raspberry-Banana Smoothie Add half a banana, half a cup of orange juice, 1 tablespoon of yoghurt, 1 teaspoon of honey, 8 raspberries into the measuring cup. Operate the appliance for 30 seconds at max speed with the chopper extension.ENGLISH

Never use petrol, solvents or abrasive cleaners, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the ap- pliance.

What should I do? The appliance may produce an unpleasant smell or emit a little smoke if it has been used too long. In this case you should switch off the appliance and let it cool down for 60 minutes Is it possible to damage the appliance by process- ing very hard ingredients? Yes, the appliance may get damaged if you pro- cess very hard ingredients such as bones, fruit with stones or frozen ingredients Why does the appliance suddenly stop working?
