4 Commissioning

Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Connect the antenna to your desired device, e.g. a TV set. Then supply the amplifier of the antenna with power by attaching the provided USB of the DC power plug cable to the amplifier. The USB connection of the cable can be connected, for instance, to the USB port of your TV (if available) or with the supplied 5V power adapter.

To ensure that the amplifier or antenna is working, check whether the blue "POWER"-LED on the amplifier lights up.

Note: Alternatively, if you want to supply power to the antenna via USB port of a TV, please make sure that the antenna is switched on only if the TV is powered on as well. This guarantees energy efficiency and reduces power consumption. An additional socket for the power adapter is not required. This way the power consumption of the antenna amounts to 20mA only. Thus a standard USB connection is sufficient.

5 Additional note

If only a few or no stations are found during scanning, then the reason for this lies mostly likely in the installation site of the antenna. Check if the cable is properly connected, change the position of the antenna, and scan once again. Ensure that there are no objects near the antenna, which could shield the DVB-T / DVB-T2 signal. A location near a window is highly recommended.

On Internet you can find different websites, which indicate the signal strength of the DVB-T / DVB-T2 signal in your region. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service.

Note: This antenna is suitable only for DVB-T and DVB-T2. UKW radio reception is not supported.

6 Safety instructions and liability disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures.
