1. Open the battery compartment of the tester pen. To do so,

slightly press the back of the clip and pull to open the compartment.

2. Insert two AAA batteries according to the polarity markings.

3. Close the battery compartment.

Warning: Do not puncture batteries or throw them in

fire as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries away from children.

Hold the white tip near the wire to test. The white tip will light and buzz if the wire is live.VTTEST21
