Initial Use and Operation (Fig. 1 - 9)

• Preparing the hair
- Wash your hair and dry it well.
- Comb your hair thoroughly. Do not use hairspray or other flammable chemical hair care products.
- Drying hair
Your appliance may also be used without attachments as a normal hair dryer.
- For this, press the key e "push" and turn the top until the stop. Pull the attachment from the appliance (see Figs. 1/2).
- To re-insert the round brush proceed in reversed sequence (see Fig. 3). Turn the top until the stop and ensure that the markings are aligned.

• Round brushing (internal - or external curl)

WARNING!

Danger of burns from hot appliance components! Never grasp at the round brush, especially not at the tip, when the appliance is on.

Place the hair strands over the brush and thoroughly brush from the roots to the tips before rolling.
Now place the ends of the hair strands onto the brush and switch on the appliance (see Fig. 4).

Note!

Please pay attention that the hair strands are not too thick.

Now select the direction of rotation, whether you wish to style the curl outwards or inwards (see Fig. 5).
Now press the left or right side (depending on the direction of rotation selected) of the "rocker switch" b. The round brush now starts to rotate and turns the strands to form a curl (see Fig. 6).
Release "rocker switch" b shortly before reaching the roots of the hair.
Now let the warm air take effect on the strands of hair until it is dry (see Fig. 7). To fix the curl in place, switch the "COOL" switch a and allow the cold air to take effect.
Now press the push button for automatic curl release f and pull the round brush out of the curl (see Figs. 8 + 9). Switch off the appliance.

Note!

Make sure that you only use push button f to release a curl. Do not use the automatic button to unroll the curl as this could knot your hair.

2-step sliding switch

With the 2-step sliding switch c you can switch the appliance on and select

I + COOL = Low air volume + cool position, 200 watt power
2 = Large air volume, 700 watt power
2 + COOL = Large air volume + cool position, 360 watt power

COOL SHOT switch

With the COOL SHOT function switch a you can lower the air temperature while the appliance is switched on. By activating the COOL SHOT switch to cool down the hair, the air temperature is lowered as long as the COOL SHOT switch is activated, irrelevant of the setting of the main switch (for cooling curls respectively a styled section of hair).

The COOL SHOT function switch a can be locked.

The appliance is fitted with an ion generator. This function will give your hair enhanced shine while styling. The ion generator also prevents the build-up of static charge on your hair.
