How to connect the headset via Bluetooth?

Press and hold the Bluetooth button (10) for 5 seconds until the LED flashes. Enable Bluetooth on your device and select 'Arctis Pro Wireless' from the list.

How to change the headset battery?

The battery is located behind a compartment on the left earcup. Open the compartment, remove the depleted battery and insert the charged battery. The spare battery recharges in the slot on the transmitter.

How to use ChatMix?

Turn the ChatMix wheel (located on the left earcup) to balance the volume between game and voice chat. The adjustment is also accessible via the transmitter menu.

Is the headset compatible with PlayStation 4 Slim?

Yes, but the PS4 Slim does not have an optical output. You must connect the transmitter via USB and use an HDMI to optical adapter or connect it to the optical output of a TV to benefit from surround sound and ChatMix. Without optical, these functions are not available.

How to adjust the equalizer?

On the transmitter, press the control wheel to access the menu, scroll to select 'Equalizer' and confirm. You can choose a preset or customize the frequencies. The adjustment is also possible via the SteelSeries Engine software.

How to activate 7.1 surround sound?

Press and hold the secondary button (17) on the transmitter for 2 seconds to activate/deactivate surround sound. The status is displayed on the OLED screen.

Can the headset be used in wired mode?

Yes, you can use the mobile audio cable (4-pole 3.5 mm) for a wired connection with compatible devices. Plug it into the headset jack (06) and your audio source.

How to update the headset firmware?

Download and install the SteelSeries Engine software on your PC. Connect the transmitter via USB and follow the update instructions in the 'Devices' tab of the software.

How to clean the headset?

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth (not wet) to wipe the cushions and headband. Avoid any contact of liquids with electronic components. For deep cleaning, remove the cushions (they are removable) and hand wash them with mild soap.

What to do if the sound is distorted or the headset stops responding?

Check that the batteries are charged. Reset the headset by pressing and holding the power button (08) for 10 seconds. If the problem persists, re-pair the headset and transmitter via the 'Pairing' menu of the transmitter. Also consult the support site support.steelseries.com.

The PS4 Slim does not have an optical output. For full functionality you will need to connect the Wireless Transmitter to the optical output of a TV or on HDMI adapter, if no optical is available proceed to the next page.
