How to fill the water tank of the Medisana AH 662?
Remove the water tank from the device, turn it upside down, unscrew the cap, empty it, then fill it with maximum 0.9 liters of drinking water (max. temperature 40°C). Close the cap, make sure the base is empty, then place the tank back on the device until it clicks audibly.
Can I use essential oils with this humidifier?
Yes, the device has an aromatherapy compartment. Remove the compartment cover, add a few drops of aromatic oil into the compartment, then put the cover back. Never pour oil directly into the water tank.
What should I do if the device does not produce mist even though the tank is full?
Check that the tank cap is tightly closed and that there is no excess water in the water base. If the problem persists, clean the ultrasonic nebulizer and the water tray to remove limescale deposits.
How to clean the ultrasonic nebulizer?
Use the provided cleaning brush to gently remove deposits from the nebulizer. Never use metal objects or abrasive products. For complete descaling, follow the procedure with citric acid.
How often should I descale the device?
If using hard water, descale regularly. Use only powdered citric acid (25 g) dissolved in 500 ml of water at 60°C. Let it sit for at least 3 hours without turning on the device, then rinse thoroughly.

When the device is operating, the LEDs light up blue. If the water tank runs out, they flash alternately blue and red, then become solid red when the tank is empty. This indicates that the tank needs to be refilled.
