Frequently Asked Questions - S 20 Cleanfix

How to change the dust bag of the Cleanfix S 20?
To change the bag, turn off the appliance and unplug it. Open the locking levers, lift the suction head. Remove the filter basket with the cotton cloth, then take out the full bag. Open a new double-layer paper bag, place the rubber ring on the inner connector. Put the filter basket back in place, close the head and lock the levers.
What to do if suction power decreases?
Check that the hose and tubes are not blocked. If the dust bag is full, replace it. Make sure the motor cover is properly closed. If the problem persists, contact an approved repair workshop.
Can I vacuum liquids with the Cleanfix S 20?
No, the S 20 is a dry vacuum cleaner only. It is not designed to vacuum water or other liquids. Vacuuming liquids may damage the appliance and void the warranty.
What type of dust bag should I use?
Use double-layer paper dust bags (original Cleanfix reference). The double-layer bag ensures consistently high suction. You can also use the optional permanent filter.
How to clean the permanent filter?
Remove the permanent filter and tap it to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, you can wash it with water and let it dry completely before reinstalling. Never use the vacuum without a filter.
Can the vacuum be used on delicate floors like parquet?
Yes, but make sure to use the appropriate nozzle. For hard floors, use the universal nozzle. For carpets and rugs, the upholstery nozzle may be suitable. Check the specific surface pressure on point-elastic floors (e.g., gymnasiums).
What safety precautions should be observed?
Read the manual carefully before first use. Never vacuum hazardous dusts, do not pull the appliance over stairs. Keep children away. Always unplug the plug before performing maintenance or repair.
Where can I find spare parts?
Spare parts (dust bags, filters, nozzles, etc.) are available from authorized Cleanfix dealers or on the manufacturer's website. Use only original parts to ensure proper functioning and safety.
What is the tank capacity?
The dust bag has a capacity of 10 liters. The total useful volume of the vacuum is 14.5 liters.
How to maintain the vacuum?
Clean the filter basket and cotton cloth regularly. Replace the dust bag when full. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Never use a high-pressure cleaner. Store the appliance in a dry place.
