BURN The remote control supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/ button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.22 GB/IE

- This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user.
- Keep the product away from moisture, dripping and splash water!

- If you notice smoke or unusual noise or odour, switch the product off immediately.

Always adjust the volume to a pleasant, not too loud level. If you have adjusted the volume of the product too high and use that for an extended period, it can damage your hearing. WARNING! Before use, verify the package contents are complete and undamaged! Prepare the remote control The provided Remote Control allows the unit to be operated from a distance. Even if the Remote Control is operated within the effective range (6 m), remote control operation may be impossible if there are any obstacles between the unit and the remote control. If the Remote Control is operated near other products which generate infrared rays, or if other remote control devices using infra-red rays are used near the unit, it may operate incorrectly. Conversely, the other products may operate incorrectly. First time use The unit has a pre-installed lithium CR2025 battery. Remove the protective tab to activate the remote control battery. / buttons to adjust the minute digits while flashing and press the CLOCK buttons on the remote control to confirm. General operation Standby/ON When you first connect the unit to the mains socket, the unit will be in Standby mode.
- Press the button on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit on.
- The unit will switch to the last selected source.
- Press the button on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit back to Standby mode. Note:
- Be sure to unplug the power cord from the outlet when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time.
- If there is no signal input under the BT (Bluetooth), USB or AUX mode, the unit will automatically switch off within 15 minutes. Precautions concerning batteries
- Be sure to insert the batteries with the correct positive “+” and negative “-” polarities.
- Use batteries of the same type. Never use different types of batteries together.
- Either rechargeable or non-rechargeable batteries can be used. Refer to the precautions on their labels.
- When the Remote Control is not to be used for a long time (more than a month), remove the battery from the Remote Control to prevent it from leaking.
- If the batteries leak, wipe away the leakage inside the battery compartment and replace the batteries with new ones.
- Do not use any batteries other than those specified.
- Do not mix new batteries with old ones.
- Do not heat or disassemble batteries. Never throw them in fire or water.
- Do not carry or store batteries with other metallic objects. Doing so could cause batteries to short circuit, leak or explode.
- Never recharge a battery unless it is confirmed that it is a rechargeable battery. Connect power Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the unit. Connect the AC power cord to the AC socket on this unit and the wall socket.28 GB/IE Select modes Press the FUNCTION button on the unit or the FUNC. button on the remote control to switch between AUX, TUNER,USB and Bluetooth modes. The selected mode will show on the display. Select the equaliser While playing, press the EQ button repeatedly on the remote control to select Flat, Music, Movie preset equalisers. - Press the VOL+/VOL– buttons to adjust the volume.
- If you wish to turn the sound off, press the MUTE button on the remote control. Press the MUTE button again or press the VOL+ / VOL- buttons to resume normal listening. Adjust the brightness Press the DIMMER button repeatedly to select different levels of display brightness. Set the sleep timer This unit can switch to standby automatically after a set period of time. Press the SLEEP button on the remote control repeatedly to select your desired number of minutes. 1. Ensure that the unit is connected to the TV or
external audio device. A: Use the 3.5mm to RCA audio cable (included) to connect the TV’s headphone socket to the AUX R/L socket on the unit. B: Use a RCA to RCA audio cable (not included) to connect the TV’s audio output socket to the AUX R/L socket on the unit.
2. Press the FUNCTION button on the unit or
the FUNC button on the remote control to select AUX for your connection.
3. Operate your external audio device directly
for playback features.
4. Press VOL+ / VOL- to adjust the volume to

- If no other Bluetooth device pairs with the unit in 2 minutes it will recover the previous connection
- The unit will also be disconnected when your device is moved beyond the operational range.
- If you want to reconnect your device to the unit, place it within the operational range.
- If the device is moved beyond the operational range, when it is brought back, please check if the device is still connected to the unit.
- If they are connected the display panel shows “BluT”.
- If the connection is lost the display panel shows “NO BT”. Follow the instructions to pair your device to the unit again. NFC (Near Field Communication) operation Pair your NFC-enabled mobile device directly with the unit by just a single tap.

NFC icon of the unit to disconnect or disable NFC from your mobile device. Bluetooth operation You can listen to tracks from a media device if it is connected to the unit via Bluetooth. Pair Bluetooth-enabled devices
- The operational range between the unit and the device is approximately 8 metres (without any object between the Bluetooth device and the unit).
- Before connecting a Bluetooth device to the unit, ensure you know the device’s capabilities.
- Compatibility with all Bluetooth devices is not guaranteed.
- Obstacles between the device and the unit can reduce operational range.
- If the signal strength is weak, your Bluetooth receiver may disconnect, but it will re-enter pairing mode automatically. To connect your device to the unit via Bluetooth:
1. Press the FUNCTION button on the main unit
or the FUNC button on the remote control to select BluT (Bluetooth) mode. “NO BT” will show on the display if the unit is not paired to any Bluetooth device.
2. Activate your Bluetooth device and select the
search mode. “SST 100 A1” will appear on your Bluetooth device. If you cannot find the unit, press and hold the /PAIR button on the remote control to activate Bluetooth pairing, the display will show “PAIR”.
3. Select “SST 100 A1” in the pairing list.
Display panel shows “BluT” while the pairing succeeds.
4. Play music from the connected Bluetooth
device. To Disconnect the Bluetooth function:
- Switch to another function on the unit.
- Disable the function from your Bluetooth device.

- You may need to remove your mobile device case to connect using NFC. Listening to music from a Bluetooth device If the connected Bluetooth device supports Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), you can listen to the music stored on the device through the unit. If the device also supports Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), you can use the unit’s remote control to play music stored on the device.

Troubleshooting To keep the warranty valid, never try to repair the system yourself. If you encounter problems when using this unit, check the following points before requesting service. No power
- Ensure that the AC cord of the apparatus is connected properly.
- Ensure that there is power at the AC outlet.
- Press the standby button to turn the unit on. Remote control does not work
- Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source.
- Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit.
- Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned correctly.
- Replace the battery.
- Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit. Clock setting erased
- Power has been interrupted or the power cord has been disconnected.
- Reset the clock. Tuning in a station Press and hold the / buttons on the remote control, the frequency changes down or up automatically until a station is found. Note: The search may not stop at a station with a very weak signal. Press the / buttons on the remote control repeatedly until you find the station you want. Each press of the / buttons will adjust the frequency by 0.1 MHz. If reception is still poor, try to move the radio to another location. Presetting stations manually You can preset up to 20 FM stations.
1. Tune in the desired station, then press the
PROG button on the remote control.
2. Press the PRE-/PRE+ buttons on the remote
control to select the preset number.
3. Press the PROG button on the remote control
to store the station.
4. Repeat above steps 1 to 3 for each station
you want to store in memory with a preset number. Storage when not in use Store the unit in a dry location to protect it from dust and direct sunlight. Cleaning
- Switch the product off, remove all plugs before cleaning!
- No acid, chafing or solvent cleaning agents should be used or the product can be damaged.

- When the unit’s external input signal level is too low, the unit will turn off automatically in 15 minutes. Please increase the volume level of your external device.
