How to start the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure 2017?

Ensure the side stand is up and the gearbox is in neutral. Turn the ignition key, wait for all the control lights to go out, then press the electric start button located on the right handlebar. In cold weather, starting may require a few extra seconds of preheating.

What is the fuel tank capacity and how to manage the reserve?

The aluminum tank holds 30 liters, including 4 liters of reserve. When the reserve light comes on, you still have about 4 liters left. Refuel promptly, especially when off-road where stations can be spaced out. The cap is located under the front panel of the tank.

Check the level via the transparent gauge on the right side of the engine, with the engine warm and the bike upright.
