The play yard can be used for newborns and children up to around three years of age. IMPORTANT! Do NOT use the play yard without the original mattress with base from BABYBJÖRN. Not using the stiened base can result in your child overturning the play yard.

1. Open the bag. Lift out the play

yard. Hold the two short sides. Turn the product so its legs are towards the floor and unfold it with one clear movement so that the legs unfold.

ASSEMBLING THE PLAY YARD4

1. Release the strap loops holding

the mattress in place. Remove the mattress from the play yard. Fold up the mattress with the base and place in the bag. Release one leg at a time by pulling the legs out. PULL!

2. Once released, fold the legs

down and lay them diagonally. The legs shall preferably be placed in a certain order, illustrated below. Fold up the play yard. Place the play yard in the bag between the folded mattress.

1. To wash the play yard, remove

the fabric by opening the four zippers on each side of the upper edge.

2. Pull out each foot plug and

release the fabric from the legs. Wood legs Metal legs WASHING INSTRUCTIONS Fabric: Machine wash in warm water. Do not tumble dry. The play yard should be assembled when replacing the fabric. Reinsert the foot plugs and then close the zippers. Mattress cover: Machine wash in hot water. Mattress foam: Do not machine wash. IMPORTANT! After washing, please ensure that all four zippers are completely closed and that all 4 foot plugs are fastened before use. WARNING! Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• Do NOT use the product without the original mattress with base from BABYBJÖRN.

• Not using the stiened base can result in your child overturning the product.

• Do not use more than one mattress in the play yard.

• Always provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of your child. When in use, never leave your child unattended.

• Discontinue use of the product when child is able to climb out or reaches the height of 35 in. (890mm).

• When child is able to pull to standing position, remove bumper pads, large toys, and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out.

• Do NOT use the product if it is not correctly assembled: all of the legs must be locked in the extended position, all four zippers closed and the mattress with the base down must be firmly against the bottom of the product. Check all fittings regularly for security.

• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.

• Not intended for unsupervised sleep.

• Strings can cause strangulation! Do NOT place items with a string around a child’s neck such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Never suspend strings over product or attach strings to toys.

• Do NOT place product near window where cords from blinds or drapes can strangle a child.

• Do NOT let the child play with the product when it is folded up, or if the fabric has been removed.

• Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers. Not sold and intended for that purpose, they can cause suocation.

• Do NOT use a water mattress with this product.7
