In the directions for use you will find the safety instructors and important information for a sound functioning of the device. Read and keep the directions for use and also give them to the next owner, if applicable. All safety advice is also in your own interest.
Safety instructions
The electric foot sack has been designed according to the highest European standards. This product has been tested extensively in all well-known safety situations.
- Before use, check whether the voltage on the label of the product corresponds with the mains voltage. When in doubt contact your retailer or the local electricity company.
- Do not use the boot salts during a Thunderstorm and remove the plug from the power socket.

The foot sack is not intended for (sick) pets/animals.

A bot sack is an electric device. So du not place or use any
fluids nearby in order to prevent an electric shock.
Do not fall asleep when using the foot soak.
- Long term use in combination with high set temperatures may cause blisters and/or burns.
- Always test the temperature with the inside of your pulse.
- Under special circumstances the electric-magnetic fields generated by the foot sack may affect the functioning of a pacemaker. If you have a pacemaker, you must always consult your doctor and the manufacturer for advice before using the foot sack.
Product safety
- Only use the foot warmer for what it is intended, that is to say, as a foot warmer.
- Take care that the card does not get stuck, folded or that it does not break.
- Take care that the foot sack is not folded or creased. Do not switch on the foot sack when it is folded, folded back or creased, in order to prevent overeating or damage (A).
- Do not pick any coins or other sharp objects in the foot sack (B).

Safety instructions for cleaning and maintenance
The foot sack must not be washed in the washing machine or by hand.

The switch has the following options:

The use of the switch
- when you set the switch in heat position 1, 2 or 3, the selected position will light up in the window (the C-position is not lit).
- Slide the switch in position 3.
- The maximum temperature will be reached after about 15 minutes. Now you can switch back to a lower temperature (position 2 or -1).
Attention!
The foot soaked emert a typical smell when it is used for the first time and when it is heated. This is harmless.
Warning!
Realise that when you check the temperature and it feels comfortable for your hands, it still may be too hot for your feet, certainly for a longer time!
Automatic switch-off (Auto-off)
the four warmer switches itself all automatically after about one and a half hours. This is done for reasons of safety.
- When this happens, the foot warmer can be switched on again at once by moving the slide for 5 seconds to the 0 position and selecting the required temperature position.
Protection system against overheating
the icepack has a thermal protection system, as a result of which the heat emission is regulated and overheating is prevented.
Warning!
Always set the switch an 0 position when you do not use the device.
Braille
There is a familiar text on the front tell side of the switch to help you find the heating position in the dark and for visually handicapped.
The maximum heating position is indicated by 3 raised points, the medium position by 2 raised points and the minimum position by 1 raised point.
Cleaning and maintenance
Regularly check the foot sack, the switch and the card for signs of wear or damage. In the event of damage or improper use return the product immediately and follow the maintenance instructions.
- If the foot stamp does not function, first check the following steps before you return it.

Check that the plug is in the power socket and that the power socket has power.

Check whether the plug is connected correctly to the cord.

Failure
