Frequently Asked Questions - JTMT01 Joy-It

What are the voltage measurement ranges of the JTMT01?
The JTMT01 measures DC voltage from 0 to 999.9 V and AC voltage from 0 to 750 V.
How to use the NCV mode?
In NCV mode, slowly point the device with the NCV mark toward the area to be measured. The sensor detects electromagnetic fields and emits an alarm whose frequency increases with field intensity.
What does the record mode mean?
The record mode displays a measurement graph and extreme values. You can temporarily save up to 8 values by pressing Auto/Menu. It supports measurement of voltage, resistance, diodes, continuity, current, frequency, and temperature.
How to set limit values in monitor mode?
Open the configuration menu and navigate to the Limit value settings option. You can set the minimum and maximum values for voltage, current, and temperature.
What is the accuracy of resistance measurement?
For resistances from 0 to 9.999 MΩ, the accuracy is ±(0.5% + 3 digits). Above 9.999 MΩ, it is ±(1.5% + 3 digits).
What type of battery does the multimeter use?
The JTMT01 is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery of 1500 mAh, with a 5V 1A input.
How to perform a continuity measurement?
Press the VΩ-Φ+ button until the continuity symbol (diode + wave) appears. Then connect the test leads: a beep indicates continuity.
What are the important safety instructions?
Never touch live circuits. Use the device only within the specified ranges. Avoid moisture and liquids. Any unauthorized modification voids the warranty.
How to clean the device?
Clean the device with a dry cloth. Do not expose to moisture or liquids to avoid short circuits.

How to recharge the lithium battery of the Joy-It JTMT01?
Frequently Asked Questions - 3 j
Response Notice-Facile

The Joy-It JTMT01 multimeter is equipped with a 1500 mAh rechargeable lithium battery that requires a power supply of 5V and 1A to recharge.

The provided manual specifies the technical characteristics of the battery but does not detail the exact type of connector or charging cable used. However, here is the information you need to know:

  • Input voltage: 5V
  • Current: 1A
  • Battery type: Rechargeable lithium (1500 mAh)

To recharge your device, use a standard USB cable (micro-USB or USB-C depending on your model) and a compatible 5V 1A power source. If you are unsure about the exact type of connector, we recommend consulting Joy-It technical support or checking directly on the device the charging port used.

Maintenance tip: Keep the device dry and avoid exposure to moisture or liquids to preserve the integrity of the battery and circuits.

3. MEASURING MODES

3.1 NORMAL MODE

In normal mode, automatic measurement and the measurement of voltage, resistance, diodes, continuity, capacitors, high current, low current, frequency, temperatures, NCV and current-carrying cables are not supported.

AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENT

Automatic measurement is performed automatically as soon as normal mode is started via the menu. Automatic measurement can also be started manually using the AUTO button.

The automatic measurement only supports the measurement of voltages and resistances, as well as continuity testing.

MANUAL MEASUREMENT

Switch to the desired measuring mode by pressing the corresponding button until the desired mode appears on the display.

NCV MEASUREMENT

Switch to NCV mode and slowly point the device with the NCV marker at the area to be measured. As soon as the sensor detects an electromagnetic field, an alarm is issued automatically.

The stronger the electromagnetic field, the faster the alarm is emitted. A corresponding message is also shown on the display:
