USER MANUAL EV102 JATA

1. Vacuum and sealed button.

Pushing it, begins the vacuum operation and it seals automatically when this is completed.

3. Air inlet: This connects the vacuum chamber with the pump.

4. Sealing strip: Places the bag to be sealed on this strip.

5. Vacuuming chamber: Positions the bag opening inside the chamber. It attracts the air and collects any liquid

that could leak from the bag.

6. Lower gasket: It maintains the air outside forming an air chamber with the top seal. Keep it clean and dry and

replace it if any damages or distortions appear.

7. Upper gasket: Keeps the air out forming an air chamber with the lower seal. Keep it clean and dry and replace

it if it presents any damages or distortions.

8. Sealing element: Hot resistance with Teon covering for sealing the bag.

• Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the  reach of children. They are potentially dangerous.

• Don’t allow children play with the appliance. Keep the  appliance out of the reach of children.

• Keep away from hot surfaces.

• To unplug, pull from the plug, never from the cable.

• Always use original spare parts.

I. Making a bag with a plastic roll

1. Connect the appliance to the mains. The vacuuming and sealing button will turn green.

2. Pull the roll until the extent desired for the bag and cut.

3. Open the side latches (2) and lift the lid.

4. Place one end of the cut piece on the sealing element (8), snapping the ange (10). Fig 1.

5. Close the top cover and secure the side locks.

6. Press (1) to start sealing the bag. During the process, the button light (1) changes from green to red.

7. Keep hands pressing the top for a better seal as shown in Figure 2. At the end of the process the button light

(1) will turn green.

8. Pull slightly the valve (9) to facilitate the opening of the lid.

9. Open the side latches to open the lid and remove the bag. The bag will then be ready for vacuuming and

1. Place the items inside the bag.

2. Clean and stretch the opening of the bag, ensure that there is no dust, waves or wrinkles and have in mind

3. Place the bag opening into the vacuuming chamber (5), tting into the ange (10). Make sure the air intake (3)

is not covered by the bag. Fig. 3

4. Attach side seals and press the button (1).

5. Press the lid down using both hands to facilitate vacuuming. Fig 2

6. The appliance will perform the emptying and will seal the bag automatically. During the process the button (1)

starts ashing and immediately will turn red. At the end of the process, it will turn to green.

7. You can cancel the process by pressing again button (1).

8. The vacuum packaging is complete. Remove the side latches (2) to open the lid and remove the bag.

• For an improved sealing eect, leave the machine to cool for a minute before using it again. Eliminate any remaining liquid or food from the vacuum chamber before further packing.

• Do not carry out the sealing function continuously to avoid overheating the heating element. The machine will reject the function if the button (1) is activated 20 seconds from the last time.

• The machine is designed to be used with suitable bags. Do not use another type of bag that is not suitable for vacuum packing.

• Cut the bag with scissors to open the sealing area.

• In case of deterioration of the lower seal (6) and upper seal (7), proceed to changing these with the spare parts provided.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Before you proceed to cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged from the mains.

• Clean with a slightly dampened cloth.

• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers, and such may deteriorate the protection. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
