The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendli- ness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable. Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations. Charging the Power Bank Before using the Power Bank, the integrated battery must be fully charged. The required charging time for the Power Bank is dependent of the charging source and its output (max. 5V/1A). CAUTION! ► Only use mains adapters with an output voltage of 5V and an output current of at least 1A or a USB 3.0 port on your computer to charge the Power Bank. You can recognise the USB 3.0 port due to the blue marking. ► If you use another USB port, make sure that you leave at least one additional connection free. ► Not all USB 2.0 ports deliver sufficient power to charge the Power Bank. If this is the case, use an external power supply or a USB 3.0 port. Option A ♦ Connect the USB plug of the Power Bank to a switched-on PC or a USB power supply (not supplied). The current charge level is shown during charging by means of the charge level LEDs : LED display Charge level One LED is flashing < 25% One LED is on, the second LED is flashing 25–49% Two LEDs are on, the third LED is flashing 50–74% Three LEDs are on, the fourth LED is flashing 75–99% All LEDs are on 100%GB
7 ■ SPB 10000 A1 Option B ♦ Connect a Micro-USB cable (not supplied) to the Micro-USB input on the Power Bank. ♦ Connect the other end of the Micro-USB cable to a switched-on PC or a USB power supply (not supplied). The current charge level is shown during charging by means of the charge level LEDs
CAUTION! ► Do not use both charging options simultaneously as this could dam- age the Power Bank, your mains adapter or your computer. Checking the charge level You can also check the charge level of the Power Bank when it is not charged or while it is being used for charging. ♦ Press the ON/OFF button briefly. The LEDs show the current charge level of the Power Bank for about 15 seconds. SPB 10000 A1 NOTE ► If the device to be charged has a Micro-USB, you can also use the Power Bank's Micro-USB charging cable
♦ During the charging process, the current charge level of the Power Bank is shown via the charge level LEDs (see table in chapter entitled "Checking the charge level"). ♦ To stop charging, disconnect the charging cable from the mobile device and the Power Bank. The charging status LEDs go off after about 15seconds. Troubleshooting The Power Bank does not charge ♦ Connection may be faulty. Check the connection. ♦ Sometimes, a USB 2.0 connection will not be sufficient for charging the Power Bank. If this is the case, use a USB 3.0 connection or a separate mains adapter. ♦ Some computers deactivate the power supply to the USB ports when they are switched off. Check that the computer is switched on. A connected device will not charge ♦ The integrated battery is empty. Charge the battery. ♦ No connection to the device. Check the connection. ♦ Press the ON/OFF button to start the charging process. The charging process stops after about 15 seconds ♦ The charging current of the connected device is less than 120 mA. This device cannot be charged with the Power Bank. The Power Bank does not react when several devices are connected even though the battery is charged ♦ The power consumption of the connected devices is too high. This has trig- gered the internal overcurrent protection. Reduce the number of connected devices and press the ON/OFF button
NOTE ► If you cannot solve the problem with the above-mentioned solutions, please contact the Service Hotline (see chapter entitled Service).GB
