Security Instructions

• Avoid metal objects and liquid from getting into the device.
• Avoid shocking and to prevent electrical shock, do not remove the power cord plug from the wall outlet with wet hands.
• Use the power adapter provided along with the device only, when disconnecting the device from the wall outlet, hold the plug; do not pull the wire as it can damage the power adapter.
• If the device has been exposed to low temperatures for a long period of time, keep it at room temperature for at least two hours before switching on.
• Avoid installing and exposing the device to the direct sunlight or accent lamp lighting, dust affected rooms or somewhere it near water, cooling or heating device.
• Use the device in its intended way.
• Read these instructions carefully.
• Do not expose this device to temperature under 5^ and over 40^ .
• Do not expose this device to relative humidity over 95%.

Operation

Start up

Plug the power adapter into the socket and turn on the switch. The machine will make a self-test. At first, the screen shows 8888. UE-R. Seconds later, the screen shows USD or the currency needing detection.

Banknote detection

a. Put banknotes in specified direction into the machine through the inlet for detection.
b. Genuine notes will pass with the green indicator lit and a beep sound. On the screen displays the face value of the notes, and currency can be displayed 2 seconds later.
c. Possible fake notes will be sent back with the red indicator lit and three beep sounds.
d. The machine can identify Euro banknotes.

Counterfeit note entry (optional)

In normal detection, if one counterfeit note has passed, choose "0" as the face value, and input the counterfeit note three times successively as per the said method for genuine notes.

Error codes

When the note is recognized to be suspicious, the Error identification label will blink to remind you and the data of that paper banknotes will not be recorded in the device.
