  6. Do not stick any objects in the appliance openings, this can result in electric shock.

Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity of sinks, bathtubs, ponds, swimming pools or other containers filled with water.

The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.

ASSEMBLY

We recommend that you set up the appliance together with a second person. For assembly you require a Phillips head screwdriver for the screws M4.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and any transport safeguards. Keep packaging materials away from children.
  2. Check whether all listed parts are present and intact.

  3. Fix the lower stand pipe in place on the base by inserting it into the opening in the base and firmly screwing it in.

  4. Route the power cord through the base and the lower stand pipe, so that the power cord projects on the upper end of the stand pipe
  5. Note that the plug for the electrical outlet must poke out on the underside of the base. The end of the power cord, on which the connection socket is mounted, must be threaded through the pipe.
  6. Check whether the upper stand pipe is completely pulled out. If not, unscrew the locking ring, pull the pipe out to its complete size and screw fasten the locking ring.
  7. Thread the power cord through the upper stand pipe. Now screw the upper stand pipe firmly onto the lower stand pipe.
  8. Connect the power cord socket on the reflector. Then carefully place the reflector on the upper stand pipe. Use the provided screws (M4x8) to fasten the reflector. After you have connected plug and socket, place the black protective cap around both plug and socket and lock the protective cap.
  9. Slide the upper stand pipe to the desired height and fix it in place at this height by firmly tightening the locking ring. Caution: This procedure is only possible if you have properly complied with point 6, otherwise the power cord in the interior of the pipe is too short.
  10. The power cord must now be fixed in place on the underside of the base. To do this, use the screws

(M4 x 12) and the two fixing plates provided for this purpose. Caution: The power cord underneath the base must be protected with the provided rubber mantle! Unscrew the fixing plates on the underside of the base, remove the rubber mantel. Place the rubber mantel around the power cord and then fix both in place with the fixing plates.

  1. Ensure that all parts are correctly interconnected to ensure safe operation.

THE IDEAL LOCATION

  1. The appliance is only suitable for outdoor areas or for operation in very large, well ventilated rooms.
  2. Do not use the appliance outdoors in storm, rain, snowfall, etc.

OPERATION

  1. Comply with all safety instructions and safety regulations.
  2. Ensure that you have selected a suitable location.
  3. Plug the mains plug of the appliance into an electrical outlet (220-240 V~, 50 Hz, 13 ampere).

  4. To adjust the tilt angle of the reflector, press the silver-coloured button (7). Then bend the reflector in the desired direction (attention: the reflector can only tilt in one direction!), and then release the button.

  5. To return the reflector to its original position, press the button again, bend the reflector back, and release the button. The button must tangibly lock in place, only then is the reflector fixed in place.

  6. To adjust the height, slide the upper stand pipe to the desired height and fix it in place at this height by tightening the locking ring.
  7. There are two switches on the reflector; via these switches the heating elements can be used separately or together:

  1. During the first two minutes after switching on the appliance, two dark spots can appear on the surface of the heating elements. This is normal and has no influence on the performance of the appliance.
  2. When the appliance is no longer required, switch both switches to the "0" and unplug the mains plug.
  3. Caution: If the appliance tips over it switches off automatically.

Allow the appliance to cool completely.

  1. Never use any abrasive scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects, hot cleaning agents or disinfectants.
  2. You can clean the housing with a damp cloth. Then dry the housing with a dry cloth.

  3. Never immerse the appliance in water.

  4. Store the radiant heater in a dry, safe place so that it is protected from dust, shocks, heat and moisture.
  5. Allow the appliance to dry completely before it is placed in service again.

GUARANTEE CONDITIONS

We grant a 24 months guarantee, and in case of commercial use a 12 months guarantee, starting from the date of purchase for any damage demonstrably due to manufacturing defects and when the appliance has been used according to its intended use. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workmanship through repair or replacement, at our option. Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the responsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly packaged and postage paid, together with a copy of the automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of purchase, and a description of the defect. If the defect is covered by the warranty, the customer will be reimbursed for the shipping costs only in Germany and Austria. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the appliance by third parties. Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty.
