How to clean the interior of the oven?

After complete cooling, clean the internal walls with a damp sponge and a little mild soap. Avoid abrasive or corrosive products for aluminum. Remove the crumb tray and wash separately.

How to use the rotisserie?

Thread the roast onto the spit centering it, secure with the forks. Insert the spit into the right cavity of the oven and press the left end onto the support. Select the rotisserie function, set temperature and timer.

What to do if the oven does not heat?

Check that the plug is connected and the voltage matches. Make sure the function selector and thermostat are set. If the indicator does not light, contact after-sales service.

Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?

It is not recommended to cover the internal walls with aluminum foil as this can damage the thermostat. For food, you can use aluminum foil, but avoid contact with the heating elements.

How to set the timer?

Turn the timer knob (N) clockwise to set the desired cooking time. The oven will stop automatically at the end of the programmed time. Turn the knob back to '0' for manual stop.

What accessories are included?

The oven comes with a grid, a drip tray, a spit for rotisserie with two forks, a crumb tray and an extraction fork.

Can I wash the accessories in the dishwasher?

Yes, the drip tray, grid, crumb tray and spit can be washed in the dishwasher, preferably on the top rack.

What temperature for roasting a chicken?

For a chicken of about 1 kg, preheat the oven to 200-250°C and cook for 50-60 minutes using the rotisserie function. Use the thermostat to set the temperature.

The oven emits smoke during first use, is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. Protective substances on metal parts may produce smoke and an odor. Run an empty cycle for 15 minutes at maximum temperature with the door open in a ventilated room.

How to change the interior oven light?

This model is not equipped with an interior light. If you need a light, contact an authorized after-sales service for more information.

The necessary precautions must be taken when using electrical appliances, and these include the following:

Make sure that the voltage on the appliance rating plate corresponds to that of the 1. mains electricity.

1. Always make sure that your hands are thoroughly dry before using or adjusting the switches on the appliance, or before touching the power plug or power connections.

4. Do not cover the inside parts of the oven with aluminium foil as this could seriously damage thermostat operation.

During operation, the metal parts and glass become hot: only touch the 16. door handle at this time.

Do not allow acid substances (lemon juice, vinegar, etc.) to remain on 20. the appliance. Acidic as lemon juice, tomato sauce, vinegar or similar, if leaved for long time, may harm the enamel, making it opaque.

To unplug the appliance, grip the plug and remove it directly from the power 21. socket. Never pull the power cord to unplug the appliance.

Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged or if the appli-22. ance itself is faulty; in this case, take it to your nearest Authorised Assistance Centre.

To prevent any risks, if the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the 23. manufacturer, its Technical Assistance Service or a similarly qualified person.

This appliance is designed for HOME USE ONLY and may not be used for com-24. mercial or industrial purposes.

USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Carry out an "empty" cooking cycle so as to remove any smell and smoke from the protective coatings applied to metal parts:

• switch on the oven by turning the dial to the symbol ☐; set the temperature to the maximum and the timer to 15 minutes;
• leave the appliance to operate with the door open in a well-aired environment.

During this operation, it is usual for smoke to come off metal parts and side openings. After this operation, ventilate the room.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Prepare the foods for cooking by placing them on the grill (C) or inside the drip pan (D).
• Plug the appliance into the mains power and use the function select dial (L) to select the type of cooking required:

top cooking and rotisserie;

bottom cooking (with fan);

cooking at full power (top and bottom at the same time), fan and rotisserie;

• Turn the dial of the thermostat (I) and set the required cooking temperature.
• Place the grill (C) or the drip pan (D) with the previously prepared foods inside the oven at the cooking level (F) required.
  When cooking foods on the grill (C), also insert the drip pan (D) at a lower level (F) than the grill (C) so as to collect any cooking fat. We recommend pouring two glasses of water in the drip pan (D) to prevent smoke, unpleasant odours and build up.
• Turn the dial (N) to set timer according to required cooking time. At this stage, the oven starts cooking and the indicator light (M) switches on.
  When the oven is on, according to the type of cooking selected, the fan starts up automatically. Hot ventilated air guarantees an even temperature distribution and permits a uniform cooking on several levels without mixing up smells.
• The oven will stop automatically either when the set cooking time is up or when the dial (L) is returned to "0". In both cases, the indicator light (N) switches off.

- Unplug the appliance from the mains power, open the door and to avoid the risk of burning yourself, remove the grill (C) or the drip pan (D) with special oven gloves for the grill or the special fork (A), provided, for the pan (Fig. 2).

IMPORTANT:

Place foods at a minimum distance of 2 cm from the top heating element.

Watch over the recipe while it is cooking.

COOKING WITH ROTISSERIE

• Slip one of the forks onto the rotisserie (E) (two tines facing inwards) and screw it into place. Tie the roast (meat, chicken, etc.) with string and slide it onto the fork take care to centre the meat well, then slide in the second fork, also with the tip facing inwards. If necessary, unscrew the first fork to centre the roast on the rotisserie and then lock the two forks in position.
• Remove the grill (C) from the oven and place the drip pan (D) on a level (F) lower than the position of the rotisserie (E).
• Insert the pointed end of the rotisserie (E) into the hole in the right-hand side, fixing it to the motor axle. Rest the opposite end of the rotisserie in the support on the left-hand side (Fig. 3).
• Plug the appliance into the power mains and use the function select dial (L), select the type of cooking required:

top rotisserie cooking;

full power rotisserie cooking (top and bottom at the same time, with fan).

• Turn the thermostat dial (I) and set the required cooking temperature.
• Turn the dial (N) to set timer according to required cooking time. At this stage, the oven starts cooking and the indicator light (M) switches on. When the oven is on, according to the type of cooking selected, the fan starts up automatically. Hot ventilated air guarantees an even temperature distribution and permits a uniform cooking on several levels without mixing up smells.
• The oven will stop automatically either when the set cooking time is up or when the dial (L) is returned to "0". In both cases, the indicator light (N) switches off.
• Unplug the appliance from the power means, open the door all the way and use the fork (B) to lift the rotisserie out of the support side on the left and then lift out the other end of the motor axle (Fig. 4).

IMPORTANT:

Watch over the recipe while it is cooking.

COOKING WITH TOP PLATES

• Plug in appliance and select cooking mode with top plates (●●) by means of the function selection dial (L).
• Select the required cooking plate by pressing the related starting button (O) to "I", and then put food to be cooked on it, placed into an appropriate pot. The button goes on to signal operating start.
• After cooking, re-position the related plate button (O) to "0" and disconnect the plug from the socket.

CLEANING

• Frequent cleaning prevents the formation of smoke and unpleasant odours during cooking.
• By using proper kitchen gloves, remove the crumb tray (R) and proceed with cleaning. Place it back into the appliance making sure it is properly positioned in its seat (Picture 5).
• The drip tray (D), grill (C), crumb tray (R) and rotisserie (E) can be washed in warm, soapy water, or in the top rack of the dishwasher.
• Always wipe the outside clean with a damp sponge.
  Do not use abrasive products that can damage the paintwork.
• Never use products that might corrode aluminium (spray detergents) to clean the inside surfaces and never scrape the sides with sharp or pointed objects. Wipe with a damp sponge at the end of each use, when the oven has completely cooled.
• When there are grease spots or smoke exhalations, we recommend removing grease with a sponge soaked in hot soapy water.

IMPORTANT:

All enamelled parts need to be washed with soapy water or other non-abrasive products.

Dry with a soft cloth. Acidic substances such as lemon juice, tomato purée, vinegar or similar can damage the enamel, making it lose shine.
