Turn the function knob to the desired mode (e.g., Bake) and set the temperature using the temperature knob. The oven will automatically preheat; the indicator light turns off when ready.
Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?
Yes, but avoid covering the entire shelf or blocking air circulation. Do not let foil touch the heating elements.
How do I clean the oven interior?
After the oven has cooled, wipe the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners. The crumb tray can be removed and washed separately.
What does the defrost function do?
The defrost function uses low heat and fan to thaw frozen food quickly without cooking it. Place food on the wire rack and select defrost mode.
Why is the oven not heating?
Check that the power cord is plugged in and the timer is set. If still not heating, ensure the function knob is not at 0. If problem persists, contact service.
Can I bake two dishes at once?
Yes, you can use both the wire rack and baking tray simultaneously. For even cooking, place dishes on different levels and consider using convection mode.
How do I set the timer?
Turn the timer knob to the desired minutes (up to 120). The oven will turn off automatically when the timer reaches 0. For continuous operation, set to ON position.
Is the oven door glass safe to touch?
The outer door is cool-touch, but the inner glass becomes hot. Always use oven mitts when opening the door during or after cooking.
What should I do if the oven smokes?
Smoking may occur from food spills or initial use. Turn off the oven, let it cool, and clean the interior. If smoking persists, discontinue use and consult the manual.
Where can I find replacement parts?

USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Carry out an "empty" cooking cycle so as to remove any smell and smoke from the protective coatings applied to metal parts:

  • switch on the oven by turning the dial to the symbol ☐; set the temperature to the maximum and the timer to 15 minutes;
  • leave the appliance to operate with the door open in a well-aired environment.

During this operation, it is usual for smoke to come off metal parts and side openings. After this operation, ventilate the room.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

ATTENTION: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE ELECTRICITY MAINS BEFORE FITTING OR REMOVING SINGLE ATTACHMENTS OR BEFORE CLEANING THE APPLIANCE.

- Prepare the foods for cooking by placing them on the grill (C) or inside the drip pan (D).

- Plug the appliance into the mains power and use the function select dial (H) to select the type of cooking required:

□ top cooking (for gratin);

bottom cooking;

☐ cooking at full power (top and bottom at the same time).

  • Turn the dial of the thermostat (G) and set the required cooking temperature.
  • Place the grill (C) or the drip pan (D) with the previously prepared foods inside the oven at the cooking level (E) required (Fig. 2).
    When cooking foods on the grill (C), also insert the drip pan (D) at a lower level (E) than the grill (C) so as to collect any cooking fat (Fig. 3). We recommend pouring two glasses of water in the drip pan (D) to prevent smoke, unpleasant odours and build up.

IMPORTANT: Place foods at a minimum distance of 2 cm from the top heating element.

- Use the dial (I) to set the timer for the required cooking time. At this point, the oven will commence cooking and the On indicator light (L) will switch on: it switches off when the set cooking time has stopped automatically or if the dial (I) is reset to "0".

IMPORTANT: Keep an eye on the food while it is cooking.

  • At the end of the cooking time, the oven will switch off automatically.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains power, open the door and to avoid the risk of burning yourself, remove the grill (C) or the drip pan (D) with special oven gloves for the grill or the special fork (M), provided, for the pan (Fig. 4).

CLEANING

ATTENTION: NEVER PLACE THE APPLIANCE BODY, PLUG OR POWER CORD IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS; ALWAYS WIPE CLEAN WITH A DAMP CLOTH.

ATTENTION: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE ELECTRICITY MAINS BEFORE FITTING OR REMOVING SINGLE ATTACHMENTS OR BEFORE CLEANING THE APPLIANCE.

  • Frequent cleaning prevents the formation of smoke and unpleasant odours during cooking.
  • The drip pan (D) and the grill (C) can be washed in warm soapy water or in the top rack of the dishwasher.
  • Always wipe the outside clean with a damp sponge.
    Do not use abrasive products that can damage the paintwork.
  • Never use products that might corrode aluminium (spray detergents) to clean the inside surfaces and never scrape the sides with sharp or pointed objects. Wipe with a damp sponge at the end of each use, when the oven has completely cooled.

IMPORTANT: All enamelled parts need to be washed with soapy water or other non-abrasive products.

- When there are grease spots or smoke exhalations, we recommend removing grease with a sponge soaked in hot soapy water.

IMPORTANT: Dry with a soft cloth. Acidic substances such as lemon juice, tomato purée, vinegar or similar can damage the enamel, making it lose shine.
