USER MANUAL DryFix EQ10 SUNTEC
Instruction manual GBSAFETY INFORMATION 1. Please read the operating instructions carefully before using your dehumidifier for the first time and keep them in a safe place.
2. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
3. Never operate the appliance if a cable or connector has been damaged, after appliance malfunction or if the appliance
was dropped or otherwise damaged.
4. Electric appliance may only be repaired by qualified personal, improper repair work can be a source of considerable
danger for the users.
5. Pull out the power plug before transporting it and / or before cleaning.
6. Operate the appliance only at the voltage specified on the rating label.
7. Use the appliance only in the household, and only for the purpose it was developed for.
8. Do not operate this unit near heating appliances and flammable or dangerous objects.
9. Do not place heavy objects on the appliance.
10. To prevent spillage, empty the water tank before relocating the appliance.
11. Do not tip the appliance to any side as escaping water could damage the appliance.
12. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified person to avoid a hazard.
13. The unit should be installed with a minimum distance of 50 cm from the wall or other obstacles.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

2. Turn the switch to the “ON” position.
3. Power indicator lights green, the unit automatically determines dehumidification level according to the ambient temperature and is then placed in the dehumidification mode.

1. The dehumidifier will not start if the humidity setting is higher than the ambient humidity.
2. Empty the water tank if it’s full and the water level indicator light illuminates. Then install the empty water tank back to its position, so the unit can continue its operation. 3. When the unit stops, you have to wait for 3 minutes before you can restart the unit to protect the compressor from damage.
4. The operational temperature range for this unit is 5-35 C°.
5. If the dehumidifier does not start (the operational light does not illuminate) or the dehumidifier makes intermediate stop on unknown reasons, please check the plug and power supply for poor connection. If the plug and power supply are in normal condition, wait for 10 minutes and restart the unit. If the unit still does not start in 10 minutes, please contact your dealer for repair.
6. When the dehumidifier is in operation, the running compressor will produce heat and make the room temperature higher.
This is normal condition.
When the water full indicator illuminates, the tank is full, and the compressor and the fan will stop operation. Please empty the water tank:
1. Turn off and unplug the unit
2. Remove the water tank and empty it.
3. Insert gently the water tank back into the unit.
1. If you want to use this function, please take out the rubber plug from the bottom of the device.
2. Insert the spring into the 1cm wide side of the drainage tube.
3. Insert the end of the hose (with the spring) in the drainage opening in and fix the hose with the clip.
4. Place the other end of the hose in a suitable vessel so that the water can flow into it.
Push the clip of each side to enlarge the opening and put it onto the hoseFILTER REMOVAL The filter can be removed from its slot by gripping the filter handle and sliding it out from the back of the appliance. Remove the filter every two weeks and clean it with warm water, below 40°C.
1. Place the unit on a stable flat surface to avoid loud noises and vibrations.
2. Never insert any slim rod and hard object into the unit body to avoid occurrence of hazard or unit failure.
3. If the unit will not be used for a long time, please pull out the power cord from the outlet.
4. For a better dehumidifying effect, the areas in front and rear of the unit should be clear and free from obstacles, which will block the air flow for the unit.
5. Clean the filtering net once every two weeks (never use alcohol, gasoline, or hot water with a temperature of 40°C).
The unit does not work. Is the unit plugged in? Plug in the unit. Does the "tank full" indicator (water tank is full or misplaced) light up? The amount of refrigerant is less than 1kg, and is in a closed cooling circuit. The coolant does have zero ozone depletion potential, but is a so-called greenhouse gases under the Kyoto Protocol and may thus contribute to global warming, if it is released to the atmosphere. Therefore only trained technicians with refrigerant certificate make a filling or emptying. Suntec your dehumidifier does not have to use if used properly and undamaged coolant circuit can be refilled with refrigerant.
This product must not be disposed of via normal household waste after its service life, but must be taken to a collection station for the recycling of electrical and electronic devices. The symbol on the product, the operating instructions or the packaging indicate such disposal procedures. The materials are recycable in accordance with their respective symbols.
