Please read the informaon contained herein so that you can become familiar with your device quickly and take advantage of the full scope of its funcons.
1.2 Informaon on this manual
These Operang Instrucons are a component of 99272 ice cube maker and provide you with important informaon for the initial commissioning, safety, intended use and care of the device. The Operang Instrucons must be available at all mes at the device. This Operang Manual must be read and applied by every person who is instructed to work with the device:
- Commissioning
- Operaon
- Troubleshoong and/or
- Cleaning
Keep the Operang Manual in a safe place and pass it on to the subsequent owner along with the device.

2 Safety
This chapter provides you with important safety noces when handling the device. The device corresponds with the required safety regulaons. Improper use can result in personal or property damages.
1.1 Intended use
This device is only intended for use in households in enclosed spaces for making ice cubes.
Uses for a dierent purpose or for a purpose which exceeds this descripon are considered incompatible with the intended or designated use.
WARNING
• Danger due to unintended use!
Dangers can emanate from the device if it is used for an unintended use and/or a dierent kind of use.
- Use the device exclusively for its intended use.
- Observe the procedural methods described in this Operang Manual.
Claims of all kinds due to damages resulting from unintended uses are excluded. The User bears the sole risk.
2.2 General Safety informaon
Please observe the following general safety noces with regard to the safe handling of the device.
- Examine the device for any visible external damages prior to using it. Never put a damaged device into operaon.
- If the conncon lead is damaged, you will need to have a new conncon lead installed by an authorized electrician.
- The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety; children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in operaon.
- Only qualified electricians, who have been trained by the manufacturer, may carry out any repairs that may be needed. Improperly performed repairs can cause considerable dangers for the user.
- Only customer service departments authorized by the supplier may carry out repairs on the device during the guarantee period, as otherwise the guarantee entitlements will be null and void in the event of any subsequent damages.
- Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement parts. Only such parts will guarantee that the safety requirements are fulfilled.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose.
- This appliance is not it for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or pung it away, switch o the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket if the appliance is not being used and remove the aached accessories.
- The device and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the device must not be used.
- Do not use other liquids than water.
2.3 Dangers due to electrical power
DANGER
• Mortal danger due to electrical power
Mortal danger exists when coming into contact with live wires or subassemblies! Observe the following safety noces to avoid dangers due to electrical power:
- If the conncon lead is damaged, you will need to have a special conncon lead installed by an authorized electrician.
- Do not operate this device if its power cable or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly or if it is damaged or has been dropped. If the power cable is damaged, it will need to be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agency or a similar qualified person, to avoid any dangers.
- Do not open the housing on the device under any circumstances. There is a danger of an electrical shock if live connexons are touched and the electrical or mechanical structure is altered. In addition, functional faults on the device can also occur.
3 Commissioning
This chapter provides you with important safety noces during the initial commissioning of the device. Observe the following noces to avoid dangers and damages:

- Packaging materials may not be used for playing. There is a danger of suocaon.
3.2 Delivery scope and transport inspecon
As a rule, the ice cube maker is delivered with the following components:

- Examine the package for its completeness and for any visible damages.
3.3 Unpacking
Unpack your device as follows:
• Take out the device from the box and remove the interior and exterior packaging.
- Clean the appliance thoroughly before the rst use. (see chapter Cleaning and maintenance)
3.4 Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the device against damages during transit. The packaging materials are selected in accordance with environmentally compatible and recycling-related points of view and can therefore be recycled.
Returning the packaging back to the material loop saves raw materials and reduces the quanes of accumulated waste. Take any packaging materials that are no longer required to “Green Dot” recycling collecon points for disposal.
PLEASE NOTE
- If possible, keep the original packaging for the device for the duraon of the guarantee period of the device, in order that the device can be re-packaged properly in the event of a guarantee claim.
3.5 Setup locaon requirements:
- In order to ensure the safe and trouble-free operaon of the device, the setup locaon must full the following prerequisites:
- The device must be set up on a rm, at, horizontal surface with sucient load-bearing capacity.
- Choose the setup locaon in such a way that children cannot reach the device.
- The device is not intended to be installed in a wall or a built-in cupboard.
- Do not set up the device in a hot, wet or extremely damp environment or near ammable material. The electrical socket must be easily accessible so that the power lead can be disconnected easily, in the case of an emergency.
- The installaon and assembly of this device in non-staordinary setup locaons (e.g. on ships) must be carried out by specialist companies / electricians, provided they guarantee the prerequisites for the safe use of this device.
3.6 Electrical conncon
In order to ensure the safe and trouble-free operaon of the device, the following instrucons must be observed for the electrical conncon:
- Before connecng the device, compare the connecn data (voltage and frequency) on the rang plate with those of your electrical network. This data must agree in order that no damages occur in the device If in doubt, ask your qualified electrician.
- The electrical outlet must be protected by a 16A safety cut-out switch.
- The conncon between the device and the electrical network may employ a 3 meter long (max.) extension cable with a cross-secon of 1.5 mm ^2 . The use of mulple plugs or gangs is prohibited because of the danger of re that is involved with this.
- Make sure that the power cable is undamaged and has not been installed under the ice cube maker or over hot or sharp surfaces.
- The electrical safety of the device is only guaranteed if the device is connected to a properly installed protective conductor system. Operaons using an electrical outlet without a protective conductor are prohibited. If in doubt, have the house installaon checked over by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer cannot be made responsible for damages that are caused by a missing or damaged protective conductor.

5 Operaon and handling
5.1 Before/First Use of Your Ice Maker
- During transportaon, the incline angle of the cabinet should not be over 45^ . Do not turn the Ice maker upside down. As this may damage the compressor and sealed system.
- Remove all packing material and carefully check your ice maker to ensure it is in good condition and that there is no damage to the ice maker or power cord and plug.
- The Ice maker should be placed horizontally on a level surface. To ensure proper venlaon for your Ice maker allow 150mm of space at the top, the back and on each side.
- Do not install the Ice maker near an oven, radiator, or any other heat source. Before using the Ice maker for the rst me, please wait 2 hours aer posioning it, and keep the front lid open for at least 2 hours
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the ice maker corresponds with the voltage in your home. Pure water is not allowed to be used on this unit, spring water is recommended.
5.2 Control Panel Operaon
'ON/OFF': Press it to turn unit on or o.
'ADD WATER': This light will come on with a long noise 'DI' noise. You will need to add water and press the 'STOP' then the 'START' buon to restart the Ice maker.

'ICE FULL' This light will come on with a 'DI, DI' noise when the ice has reached the maximum capacity of the storage cabinet. Press 'ON/OFF' buon to restart the Ice maker aer some of the ice has been taken away.
5.3 Operang Instrucons
- Open the lid and ll the water reservoir with water.
- Connect to the power.
- Press 'ON/OFF' buon to turn unit on. The ice maker begins to work.
- If indicator 'ADD WATER' is red with 'DI' noise, then take out the basket, then add water as per step 1, then press 'ON/OFF' to restart the ice maker
- If indicator 'ICE FULL' is in red with 'DI DI' noise, please take out the ice with the scoop.
- Press 'ON/OFF' buon to stop the machine.
PLEASE NOTE
• Make sure the water level in the water reservoir is not over the Ice collecng tray.
- For the rst three cycles, the ice may be small and irregular in size.
- If no water is pumped up to the water tray over two cycles but the water in water tank is enough, then please move the unit ahead a lile, then remove the silicon stopper, and let several drops water runs out.
- When the ice collecng tray is full please remove the ice immediately, Do not allow the ice collecng tray to overll.
- Due to fast freezing, ice cubes may appear "Cloudy". This is air trapped in the water and will not affect quality or taste of ice.
WARNING
- If the icemaker is reused after a long me, the water pump may not pump sucient water due to an air block, the decient water indicator turns on in this case. To correct this press the START buon again, then the icemaker will work normally.
- To ensure the cleanliness of the ice cubes, water in the water reservoir should be replaced every 24 hours.
- Always use fresh water before starng ice producon either at initial installaon or aer a long shut-o period.
DANGER
- It is normal for the compressor and condenser surface to reach temperatures between 70^ C and 90^ C during operaon and surrounding areas may be very hot.
6 Cleaning and Maintenance
This chapter provides you with important noces with regard to cleaning and maintaining the device. Please observe the noces to prevent damages due to cleaning the device incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operaon.
6.1 Cleaning
- Clean the inner liner, ice collecng tray, water box, ice shovel and evaporator frequently. When cleaning, unplug the unit and remove the ice cubes. Use a diluted soluon of water and vinegar to clean the inside and the outside surface of the Ice maker. Do not spray Ice maker with chemicals or diluted agents such as acids, gasoline or oil. Rinse thoroughly before starng.
- Keep venlaon openings in the appliance enclosure, or in the built-in structure, clear of obstrucon. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosng process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- If the compressor stops for any reason such as water shortage, too much ice, power o, etc... Do not start the system right away, wait 3 minutes, and then re-start the Ice maker.
7 Troubleshoong
This chapter provides you with important noces with regard to operang the device. Observe the following noces to avoid dangers and damages.
7.1 Security advices
ATTENTION
- Repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified personnel who are trained by the manufacturer.
- Repairs performed by untrained persons may result in considerable hazards for the user and damage the machine.
7.2 Troubleshoong

8 Disposal of the Old Device

Old electric and electronic devices frequently sll contain valuable materials. However, they also contain damaging substances, which were necessary for their funconality and safety. If these were put in the non-recyclable waste or were handled incorrectly, they could be
detrimental to human health and the environment. Therefore, do not put your old device into the non-recyclable waste under any circumstances.
PLEASE NOTE
- Uulize the collecon point, established in your town, to return and recycle old electric and electronic devices. If necessary, contact your town hall, local refuse collecon service or your dealer for informaon.
- Ensure that your old device is stored safely away from children until it is taken away.
9 Guarantee
- We provide a 24 month guarantee for this product, commencing from the date of sale, for faults which are attributable to producon or material faults.
- Your legal guarantee entitlements in accordance with § 439. BGB-E remain unacted by this.
- The guarantee does not include damages, which were incurred as a result of improper handling or use, as well as malfuncons which only have a minor eect on the funcon or the value of the device. Consumables, transit damages, inasmuch as we are not responsible for these, as well as damages, which were incurred as a result of any repairs that were not performed by us, are also excluded from the guarantee entlements.
- This device is designed for use in domesc situaons and has the appropriate performance levels.
- Any use in commercial situations is only covered under the guarantee to the extent that it would be comparable with the stresses of being used in a domestic situation. It is not intended for any additional, commercial use.
- In the event of jused complaints, we will repair the faulty device at our discretion or replace it with a trouble-free device.
Any pending faults must be reported within 14 days of delivery. All further claims are excluded.
To enforce a guarantee claim, please contact us prior to returning the device (always provide us with proof of purchase).
