Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.

Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance. Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

☐ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
☐ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician (1). Therefore check its state regularly.
☐ Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions. It is not designed for commercial use, never use outdoors.
☐ Never immerse the motor unit or the supply cord of the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place the motor unit into the dishwasher.
□ Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
□ Always use the appliance on a dry and level surface.
☐ The appliance has to be unplugged from the power supply before cleaning the appliance, changing the accessories or when not in use. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
☐ All repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician ^10 . Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
☐ Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
☐ Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
☐ Do not let the supply cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, touch hot surfaces or become knotted.
☐ Only use this appliance for cooking purposes.
This kind of appliance cannot function continuously; it is not a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make temporary stops. Check the section "Important information" in the instruction manual.
It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food. Check the section "CARE AND CLEANING" in the instruction manual.
☐ Caution, the blades of the slick attachment or the one of the chopper are very sharp, pay attention not to get cut when manipulating them (cleaning or change of the accessories).
☐ Make sure your hands and/or any kind of utensil stay clear of the receptacle when the appliance is in use in order to avoid serious injuries. Never touch the accessories when the appliance is in use. Furthermore, never try to stop the movement of the blade in any way whatsoever. Unplug the appliance.
☐ Make sure the accessory is solidly and correctly tightened at the motor block before starting the appliance.
☐ You may use a scraper (to clean the blades) only when the appliance is unplugged.
☐ When mixing warm liquid, be particularly careful as a projection of warm liquid could cause serious burns.
☐ Never use this appliance to mix boiling liquids.

☐ The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food that have to be consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.
☐ Never touch the blade when the appliance is in use. Furthermore, never try to stop the movement of the blade in any way whatsoever.
☐ We recommend that when using your product you operate the motor unit in short on/off pulses. This will give better chopping, mixing, etc. It will also ensure a long-lasting performance of your motor. Please refer to the information at the end of this instruction booklet for recipe information and operating guidelines.
☐ The chopper is designed to be used exclusively in its delivery state (bowl, lid and blades in good state) because it gives all the needed securities. Do not try to substitute one of those pieces by another one and if you have to replace one, contact your after sales service.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This appliance is not intended for long-lasting use. You should never exceed the maximum operating time indicated in the table below (see page 12). Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please make some operation breaks regularly. The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Remove all packaging, and check that no parts are damaged or missing.
  • Read these instructions carefully!
  • Wash the bowl, lid, chopper blade and axle unit in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
  • Wipe the motor unit and lid of the chopper with a damp cloth.
  • Rinse the detachable metal leg under warm running water, wipe the blade with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • Remove the stainless steel whisk from the whisk body and wash in warm soapy water, wipe the whisk body with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

WALL-MOUNTING BRACKET

To make the storage easier, your appliance is delivered with a wall-mounting bracket that you can fix directly onto the wall thanks to the screws and raw plugs provided. Therefore measure the space between the two notches on the backside of the mount and then make a hole in the wall at the desired height and slide the raw plugs. Place the mount facing the holes, the screws in the raw plugs and screw until there is the least possible play between the screw heads and the mount.

SPEED SETTINGS

Depending on the accessory you are using, we recommend you to use the following speed setting.

STICK ATTACHMENT: speed I or II

WHISK: speed I

CHOPPER: speed I or II

USING THE STICK MIXER (motor unit and metal leg)

  • Ensure that the unit is unplugged.
  • Attach the shaft to the motor housing in such a way that the release buttons of the motor housing are aligned with the notches of the shaft and apply gentle pressure until it clicks into place. Then use gentle hand pressure only to ensure that the shaft is fully tightened onto the motor unit.
  • Put the ingredients into the bowl or a suitable container (such as a mixing bowl or pan). Do not overfill to prevent splashing.
  • Plug the unit into a suitable mains socket.
  • Hold the unit securely and press the on/off button. We recommend that the motor unit is operated in short on/off pulses.
  • When mixing liquids ensure the blade is fully immersed before switching on the appliance to prevent splashing.
  • Never remove the unit from the liquid until the blade has totally stopped spinning.

USING THE CHOPPER (motor unit, chopper and bowl)

  • Ensure that the unit is unplugged.
  • First place the blade in the bowl.
  • Add ingredients to the bowl. Some hard foodstuffs (e.g. carrots, cheese and meat) will need to be chopped before being put into the bowl. DO NOT OVERFILL THE BOWL.
  • Attach the opening of the lid to the motor housing in such a way that the release buttons of the motor housing are aligned with the notches of the lid and apply gentle pressure until it clicks into place. Then pull lightly on the lid to ensure that it is fully tightened onto the motor unit.
  • Place the lid on the container respecting the positioning of its openings-out. If necessary, turn the lid until it is correctly placed on the container, then make it turn very lightly. Check the locking of the lid by pulling on it lightly.
  • Plug the unit into a suitable mains socket.
  • Hold the bowl securely with one hand, and the motor unit with your other hand.
  • Press the on/off button.
  • NEVER remove the motor unit and lid of the chopper from the bowl until the blade has stopped spinning.
    • Only use the lid of the chopper, blade and axle unit in the bowl provided.

USING THE WHISK (motor unit, whisk body and removable stainless steel whisk)

  • Attach the whisk body to the motor housing in such a way that the release buttons of the motor housing are aligned with the notches of the whisk body and apply gentle pressure until it clicks into place. Then use gentle hand pressure only to ensure that the whisk body is fully tightened onto the motor unit.
  • Insert the whisk into the whisk body, making sure that it is tight.
  • Press the on/off button.
  • Do not touch the whisk while it is moving.

CARE AND CLEANING

To take off an accessory, press the 2 release buttons and pull off the accessory carefully.

  1. Motor unit

  2. Do NOT immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, and do not put it into a dishwasher.

  3. Do NOT exceed the recommended maximum operating times as detailed in the table "RECIPE INFORMATION AND OPERATING GUIDELINES" of this instruction manual.
  4. To clean your product, wipe the outer surfaces of the unit with a dry and slightly damp cloth.
  5. Ensure that the unit is dry before using it anew.
  6. Periodically check the cord for signs of wear.

  7. Detachable metal leg

  8. Wash the leg in warm soapy water.

  9. Allow to dry thoroughly.
  10. After processing salty food, rinse the leg immediately under running water.

  11. Bowl

  12. Wash the bowl in warm soapy water.

  13. Allow to dry thoroughly.

  14. Lid of the chopper

- Wipe with a damp cloth.

  1. Chopper blade

  2. Wash the chopper blade in warm soapy water.

  3. Take care when handling the sharp blade.

  4. Whisk body

- Wipe the whisk body with a damp cloth.

  1. Removable stainless steel whisk

  2. Wash the removable stainless steel whisk in warm soapy water.

  3. Allow to dry thoroughly.
