Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction man
q Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the instruction manual together with the appliance.

q People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without supervision or instructions of a responsible person. From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician (1). All repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician (1).
q Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
q Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.
q Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
q Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
q Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
To ensure a major security, it is recommended to set up a current flight jump 30mA in the electric circuit that supplies the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
q Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
q Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Never use the appliance in bath, shower or above a sink filled with water! However, should the appliance happen to fall into the water:

- make sure your appliance is verified by a competent qualified electrician before using it again.
q When using the hairdryer in the bathroom, always unplug it when not in use as the proximity of water could constitute a danger even when the hairdryer is switched off.
q Always make sure your appliance is not wet (water splashes, ...) and never handle it with wet hands.
q Unplug the appliance when not in use or even if you put it down only for a moment.
q Inevitably the air intake grille becomes hot when using the appliance. Make sure the cord does not come into contact with the air intake grille when using the appliance
The air intake and outgoing openings must never be blocked. However should the air ventilation get blocked, the safety device will stop the appliance immediately. The latter will restart when it has cooled down. You will have to wait a couple of minutes.
The safety grille in the air intake opening prevents the hairs from being sucked in. If you notice after some time that the grille gets blocked by dust, you have to clean it. If you
don't clean it, the air flux will progressively decrease and the appliance might get damaged.
q Make sure the hair does not come into direct contact with the air intake opening.
Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.
SPECIAL ATTENTION
Your new appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When plugged in and operating for the first time, there may be a little momentary smoking while this coating is initially heated. This presents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in the unit. When using for the first time, allow the appliance to continue running until the smoke dissipates. This should last only about 30 seconds.
IONIC TECHNOLOGY
Negatively charged ions generated by the appliance neutralise the positively charged molecules, which results in a charge compensation – the electrostatic charge is neutralised and the hair can be styled more easily. Moreover, during operation the ions split the water drops of the wet hair into smaller drops. This way, your hair can be dried faster. The negatively charged ions smoothen the hair surface. The hair becomes flexible, shiny and smooth.
HOW TO USE YOUR HAIRDRYER
2-speed / off switch to choose the desired speed setting

To select the desired speed setting or to switch off the appliance, slide the switch along the handle. Do the same to select the desired temperature. To select the cool shot function, put
the speed selector to the setting a keep the cool shot button pressed.
WITHOUT CONCENTRATOR NOZZLE: If you want to dry your hair without styling it, make back and forth or circular movements above the humid areas, but make sure you do not insist too long on the same area in order not to get burned. You can use your hands or a comb to raise your hair in order to dry equally everywhere. The choice of the speed setting (1) and of the temperature (2) depends on your sensitivity and the thickness and length of your hair. If you want to style your hair afterwards, it is advisable not to dry your hair totally. You can also dry your hair as described above, but combing it at the same time to avoid tufts.
WITH CONCENTRATOR NOZZLE: The concentrator nozzle (7) attaches easily onto the barrel of your dryer and allows you to direct the airflow on a small section of hair at a time as you style and shape hair with a vent brush or comb. You can also build body and fullness into fine, thin hair by directing the airflow against the natural growth of the hair.

DIFFUSER: The diffuser (6) attachment snaps onto the air chamber of the unit to give you precise styling control whole you lift and shape the hair as it dries. It's ideal for drying or finishing naturally curly or permed hair and for adding body and volume to any hairstyle.
WHILE USING: Untwist cord from time to time to avoid tangling.
COOL SHOT FUNCTION: Use this function to make your hair more flexible and shape it as you want. This function will strengthen the shape you gave to your hair when styling it.
CLEANING AND CARE: Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Make sure the air inlet and outlet grids are free. To clean the grids, use a vacuum cleaner or a sharp object to unblock the whole. Make sure you do not insert the sharp object too far in the appliance, as it might damage the appliance and even catch fire.
You can clean the housing of the appliance with a soft damp cloth. Make sure the appliance is completely dry before using the appliance.
STORAGE
Unplug appliance, allow to cool, and store in its box or in a dry place. Never store it while it is hot or still plugged in. Never wrap the cord lightly around the appliance. Never hang unit by the cord - use the hanging loop (5) provided. Disentangle the cord before and after use.

For our products, the legal terms concerning claims under guarantee are valid. During the legal period, all material and manufacturing defects are covered. No claims will be accepted for broken accessories, defects resulting from inappropriate use or care, excessive wear due to intensive use, wrong use due to the non-observance of the instruction manual, or normal wear and tear. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified or if attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot be held responsible in case of accidents.
If you detect a defect, please contact your vendor or shop and return your complete appliance in its original packaging together with the receipt. Claims under guarantee will only be valid if the receipt or a copy of a repair bill is handed over with the appliance that needs repair.
