Frequently Asked Questions - Fly COSATTO

How to install the front and rear wheels?
The front wheels are installed by clicking them onto the front axles of the frame until they click into place. The rear wheels clip on the rear axles in the same way. To remove them, press the release button on the wheel.
How to fold the stroller?
First, lower the backrest to its lowest position. Then, simultaneously press the release buttons on both sides of the hinge and pull the release strap located at the center of the seat upward. Release the strap and fold the frame until the automatic lock engages.
How to clean the stroller?
The canopy can be sponge cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. The metal and plastic parts can be cleaned the same way. Never use abrasive cleaners, ammonia, bleach, or alcohol. The fabrics have care labels to follow.
Can I use a car seat with this frame?
Yes, the frame is compatible with the Port car seat (not included). Use the included car seat adapters and install the car seat rear-facing. The maximum child weight in this mode is 13 kg.
What is the maximum weight for the child in stroller mode?
The maximum child weight is 15 kg in stroller mode. For car seat mode, the limit is 13 kg.
How to adjust the height of the harness straps?
To adjust the height, remove the strap attachments from the backrest slots by unsnapping the split rings, then reinsert them into the slots corresponding to the desired height. Put the rings back in place.
Can the stroller be used for running or skating?
No, the manufacturer strongly advises against using this stroller for running, rollerblading, or skateboarding, as it could compromise the safety of the child.
How to install the rain cover?
Place the rain cover over the stroller (or car seat). Attach the Velcro straps at the back of the cover and fasten the retaining straps around the front of the frame. Open the zipper if necessary to access the child.
Where can I buy spare parts?
For the UK and Ireland, you can order from the Cosatto website. For other countries, distributor contact details are available at http://www.cosatto.com/stockists. You can also contact customer service at cuddle@cosatto.com.
What to do if the brake does not work properly?

Care & Maintenance:

Your travel system has been designed to meet comprehensive safety standards, and with correct use and maintenance will give many years of trouble free performance.

The chassis is strong but will weaken should the back wheels be bumped down stairs or kerbs. Continual impact will cause damage.

If your child wears hard shoes these might damage the soft fabric.

Store your travel system in a dry, safe place.

Storing a damp travel system will encourage mildew to form, so after exposure to damp conditions, dry off with a soft cloth and allow to dry thoroughly before storing.

Do not leave the travel system in sunlight for prolonged periods - some fabrics may fade.

Regularly inspect the locking devices, brakes, wheels, harness assembly, catches, seat adjusters, joints and fixtures to ensure they are secure and in full working order. They should move freely at all times.

Cosatto products are designed to operate with minimum maintenance, however regular lubrication of moving parts will extend the life of your travel system and make opening and folding easier.

Should parts of your travel system become stiff or difficult to operate, apply a light application of a spray lubricant e.g. silicone. Do not use oil or grease.

Wheels are subject to wear and should be replaced if necessary.

Your travel system should be serviced and reconditioned before using it for a second baby, or after 18 months, whichever is the sooner.

Hood may be cleaned by sponging lightly using warm water and a mild detergent.

Refer to the wash care label on soft goods for cleaning instruction.

Plastic and metal parts may be sponged clean with warm water and a mild detergent.

Never clean with abrasive, ammonia based, bleach based or spirit type cleaners.
