Frequently Asked Questions - RABB 12 A1 Rocktrail

How to install the cooler in a vehicle?
Place the device on the rear seat or the passenger seat. Open the lid, guide the seat belt into the designated groove (the diagonal belt passes behind the lid, the lap belt in front), then fasten the belt. Close the lid. If the vehicle does not have a suitable belt, place the device in the trunk and secure it with straps.
How to power the cooler?
Plug the connection cable into the device's 12 V socket, then insert the plug into the vehicle's cigarette lighter. Ensure the ignition is turned on if necessary (some cigarette lighters are powered even with the ignition off, which can drain the battery).
How to turn the device on and off?
Use the on/off switch (8): ON position to turn on (indicator light 9 lights up), OFF position to turn off (indicator light goes out).
What is the cooling capacity?
The device cools the contents of the refrigerated compartment by approximately 15 to 20 °C below the ambient temperature. For example, at an ambient temperature of 25 °C, the interior will reach approximately 5 to 10 °C.
The device does not cool sufficiently, what to do?
Check that the vehicle battery is sufficiently charged, that the ambient temperature is not too high (avoid direct sunlight), and that the fuse in the vehicle's plug is not blown. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
How to replace the fuse?
Disconnect the vehicle plug from the cigarette lighter. Unscrew the knurled ring of the plug (counterclockwise). Remove the tip of the plug and the defective fuse. Insert the new fuse (spare provided) and reassemble the plug by screwing the ring back on.
Can I use the cooler at home?
The device is designed for a voltage of 12 V DC, typically provided by a vehicle. For home use, you will need a 12 V power adapter (not included) capable of delivering at least 45 W.
How to clean the cooler?
Disconnect the device beforehand. Clean the inside and outside with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive products and avoid liquid entering the device.
How to transport the device?
Use the provided transport strap: thread it through the eyelets, then pass the free end through the buckle to adjust. You can thus carry the device easily, even when loaded.
What products can be stored in the storage compartments?
The additional compartments (non-refrigerated) can hold cans or other items that do not require refrigeration. Note that they do not cool, they are only for storage.
