FILLING THE WATER TANK

Only use demineralised water. If you want to use the steam/dry dial fill the water tank as follows:

1) Unplug the iron from the outlet to let it cool down and set it horizontally on a

stable level surface.

2) Turn the temperature dial to "MIN" and variable steam/dry dial to the setting.

3) Using a measuring cup, fill the tank with water through the fill opening. Close the

lid of the fill opening. TEMPERATURE SETTINGS You can chose the temperature setting in function with the cloth to iron. DRY PRESSING Turn on the iron. Set temperature dial for the desired fabric. Be sure to check the garment label for fibre content and set for the fabric requiring the lowest temperature. Turn the variable steam/dry dial on position . Set iron on heel rest and wait until temperature indicator light goes out. When the pilot light goes off, it means that the desired temperature is reached. STEAM PRESSING Put the variable steam/dry dial in position and fill the water tank. Plug in the iron. Turn the temperature dial clockwise into the required position according to the garment you want to iron. Turn variable steam dial to the position for minimum steam or to the position for a larger amount of steam. Set the iron on its heel and wait until the temperature indicator goes out. When the pilot light goes off, it means that the desired temperature is reached. CAUTION: Set the temperature dial within the steam range. If temperature setting is too low, water may drip from soleplate. CAUTION: Check the garment label before ironing because some clothes may be damaged when exposed to steam or water. STEAMJET The steam jet feature provides additional steam for removing stubborn creases. CLEANING After using the iron for a long period of time and regularly (at least once every month) you can clean your iron by using the self-cleaning function as follows: Fill the water tank halfway and put the iron on its heel.
