IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance before using the appliance. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Clean the grill and the accessories (Cf. "Cleaning and care"). It is recommended to heat up the grill for about 10 minutes without any foodstuff in order to eliminate the grease that may have adhered during manufacture and the «new» smell. ASSEMBLY Put the grill plate in the desired direction (ribbed or flat side) on the base of the appliance (step 1), and connect the plug of the thermostat to the appliance (step 2). OPERATION Put the plug of the power cord in an earthed power socket. Select the cooking temperature using the thermostat knob. The pilot light will come on, indicating that the appliance is heating.
