2 Safety instructions Please read these instructions thoroughly before you use the device and keep them for future reference. Only for indoor use. Do not use the product in a damp environment or near water. Do not expose the product to extremely high or low temperatures, strong light sources or direct sunlight. This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid using headphones/speakers with the volume turned up for an extended period of time. Doing so may damage your hearing. It is advisable to keep the volume at a moderate level at all times. Disconnect the AC/DC power adapter from the mains when this device is not in use for prolonged time. Never connect an adapter or power cord when it is damaged. In that case, contact your supplier. Never open the product: the device may contain parts with deadly voltage. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel. Improper use, self-installed modifications or repairs will void any and all warranties. ENGLISH 3 Your product

Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek Subwoofer Anywhere 635. The Subwoofer Anywhere 635 comprises of a transmitter and a receiver. The signal is transmitted on 2.4 GHz and can thus pass through walls and ceilings. This transmitter/receiver allows audio signals to be transmitted wirelessly.

You can connect your surround set's subwoofer output, via the Subwoofer Anywhere 635, to your active subwoofer's LFE connection, without your subwoofer having to be near your surround set. The Subwoofer Anywhere 635 has a range of approx. 10 metres, so you can enjoy your audio in the same or adjoining room without limitations.

ENGLISH 4 Getting started

4.1 Installing the transmitter

You connect the subwoofer output of your surround set or TV to the transmitter.

1. Use the supplied adapter cable to connect the

adapter into the electrical socket. The red LED will now light up.

3. The Subwoofer Anywhere 635 transmitter will now

automatically switch on and the green LED will begin to flash.

4. Now the sound of your audio source will be reproduced.

4.2 Installing the receiver

1. Use the converter cable supplied to connect the

Subwoofer Anywhere 635 receiver to the LFE/LINEX IN coaxial (Cinch/RCA) connection on your Active Subwoofer.

2. Connect the adapter to the mini USB port and insert the

adapter into the electrical socket. The red LED will now light up.

3. The Subwoofer Anywhere 635 receiver will now

automatically switch on and the green LED will begin to flash. The transmitter and receiver will now establish a connection, after which you will hear your subwoofer sound coming from the active subwoofer that is connected to the receiver. Extra receiver for your Subwoofer Anywhere 635. With an extra receiver, you can receive the sender’s signal at more places in your house. 5 Frequently asked questions (FAQs) I can’t connect my Subwoofer Anywhere 635. Check the following:

1. Ensure that the power adapter is connected and the power

LED (5) is on (red).

2. Ensure that the distance between the transmitter and

receiver is not greater than 10 metres and that there are no large obstacles in the way.

3. Check that the connection LED (4) is on (not blinking). If it is

not on, press the ON/OFF switch (3). No sound comes out of the Active Subwoofer. Ensure that the audio cable is correctly connected (LFE/LINE IN), that the correct output has been selected on your audio installation and that your audio system’s volume is set to the desired level. Check that neither the transmitter nor receiver is muted. Make sure your audio system actually reproduces surround sound and not, for example, just stereo sound on your front speakers. Can I connect my passive subwoofer directly to the receiver? In order to hear sound or music, connect the receiver to an Active Subwoofer (with built-in amplifier). You cannot connect a passive subwoofer directly to the receiver. My amplifier doesn't have an LFE output A stereo RCA adapter cable is also supplied, which enables you to use the PRE OUT L+R output of your amplifier.Subwoofer Anywhere 635

ENGLISH Can I connect multiple subwoofers? Yes, you can pair multiple receivers to the transmitter, allowing you to position multiple subwoofers anywhere you like. Why choose a wireless solution? If you were to use a long RCA cable for the connection between the amplifier and subwoofer, there is a strong possibility of a humming sound. A wireless solution won’t encounter this problem. Can I connect the USB cable from my transmitter/receiver to a USB connection on my amplifier or TV, for example? Yes, you can. But the connection is only used for powering your Subwoofer Anywhere 635. The transmitter/receiver then switches on and off automatically in line with the amplifier or TV (auto power on).
