How to change the cutting head?

Remove the current head by turning the adapter, then screw on the new shaving head. Make sure the device is off.

What type of battery to use?

The device operates with a 1.5 V AA battery (not included). Insert it respecting polarity (+ towards the front).

How to clean the trimmer?

Use the included cleaning brush to remove hair residue. Do not use water. For thorough cleaning, open the precision head and blow or brush the inside.

Should I oil the blades?

Yes, after each use, pour 1 to 2 drops of special oil (or sewing machine oil) on the shaving head to ensure optimal cutting and extend its life.

Can I use the trimmer in the shower?

No, the device is not waterproof. Use it only on dry hair and avoid any contact with water.

How to safely trim nose hair?

Use the stainless steel round head. Gently insert the tip into the nostril without forcing, only remove protruding hairs. Never push deep inside.

Does the trimmer have a length adjustment?

No, the precision head is not adjustable. Use the included comb to guide the cut or cut to the desired length.

What to do if the trimmer does not start?

Check that the battery is correctly installed and that the on/off button is in the '1' position. If the protective cap is in place, the device will not turn on.

How to maintain the battery?

Remove the battery if the device is not used for a long time to avoid leaks. Store it in a dry place.

Where to find spare parts?

General Safety Instructions

- Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do not put it in water.

- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.

- Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).

- To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.

- Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.

Special Safety Instructions

- The device should only be used for cutting hair.

- Do not insert the device further than the thin tip of the shearing blade up your nose!

- Do not use the device if the shearing blade holder, the shearing blade or the inner blade are distorted or damaged! DANGER OF INJURY!

• This device is only used for cutting hair on the head or beard, nose and ear hair!

- Do not use the device any other purpose!

- The shearing blade and the inner blade are precision-manufactured. Do not exert heavy loads on it and avoid knocking!

- Keep the device away from humidity and liquids!

- Do not remove the shearing head during use! Switch off the device and remove the battery before cleaning!

- Do not insert any pointed objects into the shearing heads.

- Use this machine to cut dry hair only.

- Open the battery compartment by turning the bottom section - see marking - to the left.

- Insert a 1.5 V battery of type AA with the plus pole (+) facing towards the front into the battery holder.

- Replace the lid of the battery compartment.

Switching on the nasal hair remover

1. Take the protection cap off the shearing head.
2. Push the on/off switch in the direction of the shearing head to position "1" in order to switch the device on. Warning: Do not switch on the device with the protection cap not mounted on the device!
3. Insert the tip of the fine-steel shearing head into your nostril. Warning: remove only the hair coming out of your nose and do not press the device inwards! Do not insert the shearing head too deep and forcefully into your nose: risk of injury!
4. If pieces of hair remain in your nose after cutting, remove these simply by cleaning your nose.
5. Switch off the device by turning the on/off switch to position "0".
6. Take the cleaning brush and stroke it away from the centre over the fine-steel shearing head.
7. After cleaning insert the cleaning brush back into the holder.

ATTENTION: Depending on the quantity of cut hair it is advisable to thoroughly clean the device from time to time as described below in "Cleaning"!

Please change the attachments, remove the adapter with the fine-steel shearing head and screw on the precision shearing head.

Trimming beards and cutting hair

1. Briefly comb the hair.
2. Oil the blades slightly.
3. Push the on/off switch in the direction of the shearing head to position "1" in order to switch on the device.
4. Shorten the hair on your head, chin, cheeks or beard step-by-step to the desired length.
5. The shearing head enables the precise trimming of the beard contours even areas, which are difficult to reach, and a clean shaving of the hairline in the neck area.
6. The shearing head cannot be moved and it is not possible to set varying cutting lengths.

Maintenance and care

• The regular cleaning and maintenance of the machine will guarantee optimal results and a long life.
• Use only a slightly damp and soft cloth to clean the machine.
  • After use remove each time all hair left on the machine with the supplied brush.
• Open the upper section of the precision cutting head in order to blow out the tiny hair particles or remove with the cleaning brush. Press the lid upwards with your thumb. Replace the lid by pushing from the front to the back until it is heard to lock in place.
• Whenever the device has been used to cut hair apply 1-2 drops of acid-free oil (special oil or sewing machine oil) to the shearing head.
• Please ensure that the fine-steel shearing head is on the device. This can be protected by the covering cap.

This device has been tested according to all relevant current CE guidelines, such as electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage directives, and has been constructed in accordance with the latest safety regulations.

The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).

During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories *) ascribable to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new guarantee!

Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.

If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.

*) Damage to accessories does not mean automatic free replacement of the whole machine. In such cases please contact our hotline. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts are always subject to a charge.

Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing (e.g. motor pistons, kneading blades, drive shafts, spare remote control, spare toothbrushes, saw blades, etc.) as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!

The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.

After the expiry of the guarantee

After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.
